  1. I bump myself in the but with the rearwheel quite a lot. When I make use of the front wheel to swing in the rearwheel and tuck it up after I've landed the front I'll have to think about it or else I will end up bumping my butt But tuck and land on both wheel at the same time is impossible for me when the hights starts to get over 50-60 cm.
  2. It may be easier to say if we can see how you do it. So a little video may be good for us to see what you can do different. But it can take a year without progression and then it just comes one day. I can sidehop about almost 110cm but over a rope about 80-90 that's because I use the front wheel when sidehoping up on obstacles. And I'm trying to learn how to tuck in the air and land on both wheels at the same time and it just won't go as I want. Nothing has happened for about a year but someday I think it will come.
  3. Nice, and I saw the comment on youtube about the sidehops. I got problems myself to sidehop and land on both wheels at same time, I jump much higher by putting down the front first and then lifting up the rear. I've been trying to do it the "right" way but I can only do it on much lower obstacles. It may be a good idea to practise on those sidehops.
  4. Wow, I didn't expect that he was that good. And it really looks like a young Danny. It reminds a lot of myself(or vice versa) but I'm not even half way there but that's the style of riding I've been taking on since I got my 20".
  5. It's the Benny Hill theme, I think... Not when I ride a bike but when I'm snowboarding and spins it twists around my head. But I usually have it under my shirt when snowboarding.
  6. I think he should be more creative, for example there was an edge, a bench and a higher edge. A lot to play on but he just went for the highest edge. It's too much bang right on, and try to beat the old record. It gets a little boring to watch. Of course he should ride as he like, but it will get more fun to ride and watch if it's creative and when you can use more of the obstacles, even the small ones.
  7. Nice riding. The bike looks really light and stiff.
  8. I've recently learned to tap. I also try to learn 180 on a thin rails. I really like my Echo lite 20", I've learned a lot on it recently and I ride much better on 20" I think.
  9. Even if the number of tooth difference is the same but on different sized sprocket sets, it won't be the same. I was calculating on 18-15 and 22-19 and it was a difference of 4cm distance travel on a full crank rotation on a 26" bike. It sounds wrong but when you write it down on paper and calculate you will understand it, it is difficult to just imagine how it works but it has to do with the amount of teeth per full rotation. The rear 15t sprocket starts at 12 a'clock and after a full rotation on the front 18t it's 3 teeth past 12 a'clock and the same for 22-19. But when you mark out the degrees you'll see that 3 teeth on a 15t sprocket has more degrees then the larger 19t sprocket. 360/15 = 24° / tooth 360/19 = 18,9° / tooth with that you can calculate the difference it will be in travel distance with the size of the wheel.

    The Big Rock

Thanks! Now I can jump so high that I have to think twice before jumping down. It is a great feeling and I remember how I was wishing to be able to do it when I started riding trials almost 3 years ago. The most difficult thing was the "in-run" because it's in the woods and it's very bumpy and difficult to maintain a good speed and getting the line and pedalling right.

    The Big Rock

Hehe, yes. And it also made the engine cooler so it could work a little harder

    The Big Rock

I went out today and made a new try on the big rock that I've been trying to get up on for a few weeks now. A little warm up and then a few tries on the rock until I finally made it.
  13. I wonder how many Inspired frames will be sold thanks to this video? I'm proud to be one of the first in Sweden that bought one. And I'm proud of being a trials rider. And it feels so awesome that this video got such large response.
  14. I did expect to see something new and awesome but this was way much more then I could ever imagine. To me, he has become a mortal GOD!
  15. Never done anything like it before so I was quite impressed myself. It felt really good when I was flying up the cliff. But I will try to get all the way up in one move this year
  16. Snyggt. Har nyss kommit igång själv nu. Dom sopar ju inte bort gruset lika tidigt här uppe så det har blivit en lugn uppvärmningsvecka för att förhindra skador och inflamationer i leder.
  17. As some of you may know there's been a lot of snow(more then usual) here in Sweden this year but now it's gone and this the first ride this season.
  18. I just counted on 26"x2,5=65cm so don't know how exact it will be. But it will be almost 4cm distance travel difference / crank rotation.
  19. I found a clip I haven't seen before. Don't know if it's what you talk about but I think it will fit nicely in this thread. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uHH7kfhLnY
  20. It was really fun to ride the bike on the trails in the forest when the kids have packed the snow so it has become ice then I get really good grip with the screw tires. And it forms long up down bumps and velodrome curves so it's an awesome feeling to bee able to ride them so fast between all the trees. The backflip trick is a Backside Rodeo 180 and the clips you see is the first and the second attempts that I ever done on that trick and I nailed them both so I'm really happy for that. I've been studying that trick and imagine how to do it and thought through it step by step for about a month.
  21. I haven't been able to ride so much trial this winter. It has been the best winter for about 20 years and I have been snowboarding instead and I also put some screws in my tires and took the bike to the ski slope. Bicycle video: Snowboard video:
  22. The riding was awesome, and the editing too. This is probably the best trials video I've ever seen. Thanks for posting. I made my first trials ride this season today and it was a lot of gravel left from the winter on the streets and all the muscles have been lost from 6 months without riding so the motivation wasn't very high and I felt a little like selling the bikes and start with downhill instead. But this video brings the motivation back big time so I will get my bike and start riding after I've recovered from today's riding.
  23. Got this video in my subscription on youtube. I liked it very much.
