  1. you bled a dengura with water? 9/10 for effort and brake death.
  2. I've had mine since a week after they were released and it's still working fine Rear discs tend to be used more by mod riders than stock riders, on stock's big discs are needed on the back to give a good enough hold, which in turn makes it impractical for much of the riding we do. Rim brakes *** for stock's!
  3. it sure is, anyone free this weekend? sweet bike baz, sort the lever out!
  4. I missed out last year and really want to go this year, does anyone know of a way to get there using trains/ busses etc... ? And is anyone else from my endz going?
  5. BIG drops (6-7+ foot) are scary and break your bike, but if you really want to do them, don't think about it, jump off it before you get the chance to weigh up the pro's and con's and what may go wrong, It will all come naturally with practice!
  6. why isnt he validated yet? Dude, keep this up and you'll be out of here in no-time. Welcome to the forum, see you soon!
  7. Go team 14 year olds!! I think he's rather alot better than me though Mint lil' vid and some awesome riding!
  8. Stock means 26" wheel, unlike the 20" known as mods. Mad are now known as "Phase", look on ebay for any well specced bike, you can get them really cheap there, or get a fairly cheap one from tarty!
  9. How tight/ loose is your chain? are you using the dodgy split link thing? Buy a beefier chain
  10. dude, they're only £20, if you've got 4bolt mounts they will fit, they will improve braking and reduce frame flex, and PLEASE try using the search!
  11. T'internet. TartyBikes Selectbikes Trials-UK
  12. damn i forgot to put that, meh
  13. Practice all you know, pedal hops etc.. just improving your style and finding what works best for you! Balance is probably the most important thing you need to practice if you are considering comps. Im not going to jump on the rant wagon, so just a bit of advice to avoid getting on peoples backs, if you want to find something out, try it in the search first, the topics that you have posted up have been on here many times, so if you type "pedal hop" for example, there will be many topics on it that you can read and learn from without cluttering up the thread. Anyway, practice and lots of it is the way to go!
  14. Oh how I lol'd. depending on your bike, i'd probably get some new forks or cranks.
  15. I weigh just under 11 stone, (68 kgs), and run around 25 psi. A simple change in pressure for different conditions makes so much difference! Just keep changing the pressure until you fing whats best for you. Last time i rode natural at thriftwood, i had under 5 psi in the back tire, just to try to get some grip, (t'was raining and muddy and we were just mucking about, but still, it shows how beneficial having the right pressure tyres makes to your riding!)
  16. woop! you actually spelled it better!! (most people don't seem to pay much attention if anyone says something about text talking to them!)
  17. A spanner and a hammer are all you ever need to sort out that problem (unless you snap it, then you're screwed.) Anyway, big discs ***
  18. I'm not a comp person, but as i remember there wasn't an age limit. And the two main bodies in the U.K are the UCI and BIU. Comp rules in brief; UCI rules = Cant touch obstacles with anything other than the tyres. BIU rules = Can touch the obstacles with things other than tires, bashplate/ ring, cranks, pedals etc.. But in both, you can't put your foot/ hand down or you get a point (know as a "dab") added to your time/ score/ whatever you want to call it. Try to spell all your words correctly and use good grammar, then you will stand a better chance of being validated and using the other parts of the forum!
  19. A few of my friends used to ride in Ribo's, but looked like idiots off the bike on rides, i wear Zoo Yorks with super tacky soles, look great, comfortable and uber grippy!
  20. That looks so cool, like the rat rod of trials. Not keen on front brakes then?
  21. That vid was amazing! 2:28, slight slip of the brakes .. certain death? keep up the awesome riding!
  22. rock pad greens or zoo's, keep the rim dry and give it a quick hose down after each ride and the pads will contnue to perform at their best!
  23. what ride? ben, you need to name dates and whatnot! my bike is now in many pieces in the living room, can't ride till tuesday earliest
  24. noice, do you not find the disc too small for a stock?
