  1. Suppose yea, my only real reason was that there's virtually no short stocks made anymore, I'm not paying £500 quid for a norco, so maybe a leeson's the way forward. I've got a zebdi at the mo and an old steel megamo (any ideas what the wheelbase on that is?) Leon
  2. I've never had a problem with reach, i try at least 4 different stems on any bike i have. It's only frames from about 1030 onwards that feel like they're holding me back. It's just the particular inspired i tried didn't do anything for me, neither did Joe mahers, both had bar n stems i'd not use but i don't wanna buy a full bike in the hope that it'll feel ok.
  3. Well i've only really researched the inspired as it seems to be the one to have, anyone know the geo of leesons & others? Leon
  4. Right, i've ridden proper street trials bikes for over 10 years now, rode a gu for about 6 months in that time, My favourites were.... Zebdi - 1025 wb Zero - 1025 wb but really slack head angle Pace - 1023 wb Norco - 1016 wb and very low bb (loved it) I've read up a bit on the inspried & noticed its 1040 wb, i know the wheels are smaller but i've never felt comfy on anything over 1025 wb, a pashley 26mhz at 1040 was too long...... I had a little go on one recently and to be honest i prefer the feel of my 26". The bike had a silly echo stem & some half arsed risers tilted forwards. So i suppose my question is....What's gonna be better for manuals bunnyhops & general streetyness, i don't care how it feels on the back wheel or how it sidehops. Its just everything felt very forced on the inspired, i dont think the smaller wheels would compensate me for the extra 15mm wheelbase. I'm starting to think i'd be better off staying with 26". Opinions wanted from people who have ridden proper streetbikes in a streety manner and then gone to 24" and are able to offer an unbiased opinion. Ta Leon

    My Dream

Cheers everyone! I'll prob just lave them as they are, would be nice to have a strong rideable one but theres still the poor tyre/brake clearance, rear ends aren't straight anymore either, and i just cant be bothered really, shame, though i'd love an unbroken one

    My Dream

Cheers, sadly they're both broken lol, paid £30 the pair. The white one was snapped & is rewelded so thats seeing no action! The grey had a crack and is rewelded too, so its doable, but it wont last long. You can see they went at the usual breaking point. Leon

    My Dream

Well the grey one will be built in a few weeks, the white ones not usable lol. ~I had a pretty bad motorbike accident 3 months ago & i still got an open wound on my hip & back so im hoping for a skin graft so i can get out sooner. Here's what i'm working with lol Leon

    My Dream

My dirt & trials bikes My dream frames custom painted & stickered Leon
  9. Try some bike shops for old steerers, I worked in action bikes years ago, and in the basement we had well over 50 unused steerers just laying around. Leon
  10. Whats the difference between the 2 hoses? Both i got here look identical From what i can see...a hs33 hose and fittings should work...can anyone confirm anything? cheers
  11. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=9454 Bought one of these 2nd hand recently but the hose is too short for my jump bike, i took the hose out assuming it was same system as a hs33 but its not, not just an olive each end. The fittings or kit from crc cost roughly what i paid for the brake so I wondered does anyone know where i can get just the fittings? I got plenty of hose & plenty of olives, i just need the bits that a hs33 doesn't have. Alternatively anyone wanna sell a complete hose for a louise? oR POSSIBLY even swap as mines a good length for a trials bike, just not a bike with 4" travel forks. Chers Leon
  12. Can anybody rotate a quicktime clip? Doesn't matter if it gets converted to wmv etc in the process, was taken on a phone but sideways obviously. I can msn it, 8mb and very good quality. Leon

  16. I hope its got a short stem & some proper mtb risers! cheers again people. This front magura is so loud Leon
  17. Lol cheers Sold the full face bike to Dave Woodard, had 2 short street bikes so he most valuable one had to go. I hope you bought something short! Not going london this time, im destroyed from work but i'll be out on it very soon Leon

    Leon - Small Vid

Cheers people, Yea i've tried doing what you said doing it bit by bit in chunks, but i don't know if its the total file size/amount of clips etc,i shut every other application down while using it, but after a certain point (not very far) it jus crashes with the next clip to be added, wether you have 10 clips before it or one big clip made of 10 its the same, means i can only really make 1 min vids lol I'll search service packs etc Leon

    Leon - Small Vid

Most of you have probably seen the bulk of it but ive stopped making this vid because .. 1. My pc is a piece of **** and once a vid reaches just over 1minute in length it just doesn't wanna know anymore. 2. The weathers been so bad i haven't been able to do anything. 3. I've built up my dream bike (zebdi) and the pace is now pretty much a Chris Akrigg replica and i don't fancy cracking it & smashing it against rails. Like i said nothing amazing just getting it out the way so i can start a frsh vid on the zebdi & hopefully sort my computer out and make a full length vid. Anyone know how to combat the movie maker crashing situation? Leon
