just one last question before i order some rockman forks
is the rockman much weeker than the echo urban forks? or will they last the same amount of time?
hi guys
i want new forks as i think my echo sl will break soon.
i prefer forks with curved blades and has to have hs33 mounts
what forks wil be strong and longlasting?
and what do you for instance think about the because 24" forks?
thanks,
sion
thanks for your reply but the cutting wont be a problem but for which refil will i be short on space in the backings itself?
for instance wil the tnn lgms or hs yellows (be able) fit my backings?
you should go for the hope diskbrake altough they are not cheap they are very powerfull and almost maintainance free.
you could also get a disk protector i think tarty has these
this might work if you think your rim is the problem.
you should do ductape on the rim than cycle a 10 meters or so with a little pressure on your brakelever
and than take the ductape of.
make sure you place the tape the right way around otherwise youll pull the tape straight of.
and than you can clean your brakepads if neccesary
this works for me. although i dont have any experience with phatpads.
