curious to what the bite and hold is like compared to a grind

I've seen a few of the top uci riders wearing part climbing shoes such as the Adidas Terrex solo shoe. Are there any other shoes similar to these that would be ideal for trials? I'm aware there are ribo's/Try-All shoes, just curious to what else there is.
