Dont nessercerly(sp) need a grind or tar. good set up and decent pads will work just as well From personal preferance a BB5 or 7 would be better

Clean the rotor with disc break cleaner. Check/clean pads, if the pads are contaminated sand them down a couple of mm. works everytime

Get some muscles. The beefest rachet and extension bar combo. Should do the trick

Rims look gash, would look better with white rims. But still who would buy a bike for that much which is just a fashion item really
