Thanks for the comments. Adam is now trying to transfer the skills on to a 20" because the 205 was getting a little small. Small video yesterday playing at Matlock Quarry. Rules etc look sensible to me. Just one question. It says that you self select the route to ride re ability and then if you win the championship on that route you should move up. Does this apply to 2009 so last years winners move up?

Cheers Scott. We are hoping to do the euro in Spain. I think Czech & Italy clash with sidecar championship rounds. What about UCI youth in belgium?

Very disappointing. We were going to go to the round in europe. Have to find some other events to do. Any ideas?

I'd like to see him try it on a sidecar!!!

I ordered a chain tensioner from there over 6 weeks ago. The transaction went through almost immediatley on my credit card but still I have not received my goods. The model I ordered isn't even listed anymore. I have tried to contact them twice but no reply. If it goes on much longer I will have to take it further.

He's six. He's dyin to grow a bit so he can have 20" wheels. Reminds me of when you were little Scott!!

He hasn't needed much encouragement. He's grown up around trials & spends a lot of time just riding all day when we are at motorbike events. He can do 4 hops on the back wheel but hasn't sussed going forward whilst hopping on the back wheel. Give it 12 months!

It looks good to me. An alternative to the Monty 205 which is very popular with the 4 to 8 years olds. Why shouldn't kids have a choice of what to ride!

Dave I'm hoping to bring my lad along. Is it Ok to send entry form & fee and then sort licence fee on the day! I may even embarass myself and ride also!! Robin

Each to their own I suppose but riding comps is surely what all the practising is for. My son Adam and I try and make all the falcons ones as they are the nearest but sometimes they clash with the motorbike events.

My son Adam is 6. He's often looking over my shoulder reading the forum. He may be the youngest and I may be the oldest (39)

39 is not too old. I'm 39 and rode in my first bike trial 27 years ago! Now my six year old son has started competing and I took him to Huddersfield Falcons trial on saturday at the venue of my first ever event. I got talked into competing. A come back at 39!!
