Afraid thats not the correct matlock quarry. It is near the new Sainsbury's. Google maps doesn't show the store. The postcode of the sainsbury's in Matlock is DE4 3SP (Cawdor Way) You need to go up the hill on the small road next to the sainsbury's filling station until it levels out and there is a pull in on the left with a couple of large rocks blocking a path. Park here and go up the track behind the rocks into the quarry.

I meant I sent Jack an e-mail telling him how to get there. We go quite a lot so I know where it is. Send me a PM if you need me to send you directions.

We're going. I tried getting in touch with Jack to let him know. Do you know how to get there Ross? I sent Jack an e-mail re directions. I will hopefully be giving my new frame a try if I get my wheel built in time. Donna Fox is also coming. What time everyone getting there?

Just got home from the last huddersield falcons biketrial of the year and I'd like to say a big thank you the the organisers for a great season. We'd love to do more of the events but unfortunately a lot of them have clashed with other things this year. Look out for next years dates and make the effort to go. They are nice, laid back events and a lot of fun. I'll have to get fit to do a few more myself next season before Adam starts beating me. Here's a couple of pictures from today's event.

If it's the same as the 2009 it's 1012mm

Can't make the next one as it's the day before the last ACU British champ round / eurocup at Hook Woods. Will be at the one after though.

Not done a video for a couple of months. He learnt to crankhop on holiday and now practices it all the time. Few clips whilst we were watching UCI world cup in Belgium.

It was another great event. I think it was the correct thing to stiffen up the sections and also tighten up on the obseverving. A brave decision by the organisers but the correct one. Thanks to all the organisers. See you at Shipley.

Well done Jack. Knew you could do it. Didn't British Cycling supply TeaM GB shirts for the competitors? Noticed on photos on various websites that all the other countries had team shirts on. Are we poor relations again!

Can't make it now, got to work later than expected. Will have to be saturday afternoon instead.

Against my better judgement I ordered a bottom bracket from T-UK on Sunday as I couldn't find the one I needed anywhere else. To my amazement the correct one in the correct colour arrived Tues morning!

Me and Adam will be up there later in the afternoon. Think Donna will be going as well

Adams well impressed with the comments. His latest vid from a couple of mins shows him practising in Spain for the European Championships. He had an awesome day and finished 2nd in Poussin class. He has 2 more years in the class so we're hoping for better things next year!

the best thing to do is to find a long steep hill and go down it with the brake on to get it really hot. Then put water on it so it steams all the oil off. Keep repeating until sorted. This is how all the motorbike trials guys and galls sort it.

Was a great weekend and weather held out for us as well.

It was a quarry just off Manchester road. It was an event organised by the Huddersfield Falcons MCC. (google the website). They run about 8 events per year. Sprog- Adam on the Monty is 7 years old. Here's his latest vid.
