  1. Hi, and yes, I'm back, with another question about disc brakes, I've used the search, and after going through about 6 pages full of topics, I couldnt find what I was looking for, so. Are Magura Louise's any good on the rear? I've heard that they are'nt that good on the back, e.g, they slip a lot, is this true? Has anyone had any experience with them? Thanks. Kiwi. P.s, I hope your not all getting annoyed with all these disk brake questions.
  2. I dont mean to sound like an arse, but i posted a topic asking the same question a while ago. Try searching for your answer before you post a topic about it. Kiwi.
  3. Thanks a lot mate, i've been looking for that site for ages, I remembered going on it and i wanted to go back on there, but i couldnt remember the site, thanks.
  4. Hey, i was just browsing through youtube, and i came across this amazing bike. Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  5. I wouldnt, the forks are weedy, and all the monty parts are better. And why are you on mikes profile?
  6. When i had my base, i ran 22:18, I have an Echo now, and ive got 18:12 on 160mm cranks, so i have plenty of power when jumping around. Kiwi By the way, there both mod.
  7. All i want for christmas is a rulong, I would be very happy.
  8. A Rulong frame with a new rear disc hub, new rear rim, hope mono's front and back. Well nice Kiwi.
  9. This is the 09 dob. Looks a bit stronger than the 08, what do you think? 09 dob
  10. There not weak at all, as long as you get a decent rim, (echo, viz) etc. And a good build, they're fine. hope this helps, Kiwi.
  11. I wanted a Dob, lovely looking frames, but the weakness put me off as im not a very light rider, and the fact that they flex a lot. I've got an echo, and there solid frames, i've never heard of any echo snapping, but dob on the other hand, ive never heard of one lasting over 4 months. Kiwi.
  12. I would get maguras. Ive heard that the denguras leak, and with maggies, you get a five year Guarantee, so maguras are your best bet. Kiwi.
  13. Well, i'll spare a thought for you when im at my desk, being as bored as ever.
  14. Wow, nice big moves, loved the little manual. Kiwi.
  15. My double english lesson every thursday, period 3 and 4. Soo boring.
  16. Adamant is a sub-make of zoo, so there the same in quality (very well made), and it all depends on your size, and what one you like the look of more. And with the Adamants, you get the option of short or long, most people say the adamants ride better, but ive only ever ridden a Zoo and it was too long for me, and im 5ft 4" so you might be the right height for a long. You should have a go on other peoples bikes to see which one feels better for you. Hope i helped Kiwi. Edit: Aarron's never ridden an Adamant, so he doesnt know what they feel like.
  17. Does your dad know about grinding rims properly, and how it helps in the wet? My dad said if you polish the rim it would make it better and he said that my rim would only hold about 2-3 grinds before it starts getting weak, shows how much he knows. Kiwi.
  18. Same, never liked onzas really, but its up to you. Kiwi.
  19. Oh, cool thanks a lot mate. I was thinking about an echo urban rim, but wanted everyone's opinions. Thanks again, Kiwi.
  20. So the cups are loose in your frame?
  21. Hey, im looking for a new 46mm rear rim, not fussed about weight, but needs to be strong, as im not the lightest of riders. What is everyone running? What would you reccomend? cheers, Kiwi.
  22. If your spacers are broken, why get a completely new headset? And them onza headsets are quite decent, three of my mates have them, and one of them has had his for about a year now, and he's had no problems. In fact, ive had more problems with my viz one
  23. Ohh yes, they were in fact, the best thing that had ever happened to me at the time. I remember when I got some shiny one and it had ten stars, I felt complete, very sad I know, but I was young and had nothing else to spend my pocket money on.
