  1. i already know what i'm doing but thanks for tip .
  2. I have managed to brake my wheel fron the inside out I was riding my specialized p1 jump bike and all of a sudden ti felt like my brakes where pulling and there was some seriosuly nasty squeeking noises,. I took the bike home and took the front wheel of expecting the brake to have blown up or something like that but when i looked nothing was wrong with the brake, i cleaned everything down and put it back together. when i rode it again the serious drag and squeeking. I took the wheel off again and took it apart, when i took the axle bolts of i was greeted by lots of lovely aluminium shards and powder, a couple of flattened bearings and a seriously messed up hub, what has happened is one of the bolts that holds the bearings has been shattered i don't know how the hell i managed it but all i do know is it is a mess, ill put some picks up asap, its gonna take me alot of time and alot of money to get this sorted..... Davey.
  3. Humm kk, says online allround v but ill go with you lot.
  4. Yer i was there watching the qashqai and i nearly got run over when crossing the melenium bridge (which ur not ment to ride over btw) Didnt have my bike or i would of been there qashqai qas good though.
  5. i remember that day well stu "ill side hop this 8 set" PING !! oh dont worry its only one spoke, hang on CRACKKKK no now it isnt only a spoke.
  6. No it didnt, the stock 06 comes with all round v's, the rear maggie is brand new had its first ride couple of days ago, front one is a raceline stripped down.
  7. It isn't stock, the stock one doesn't come with the maggies or those pedals lol.
  8. Its not great i know but its a start. Front magura raceline stripped back to metal. Brand new rear magura. Onza muscleman crank. DDG pedals. Tensile freewheel. Onza bars stem and forks. (being changed) Onza wheels.
  9. How do i post pictures without putting them on a hosting site? Then you can all see my bike . How do i post pictures without putting them on a hosting site? Then you can all see my bike .
  10. Right, do not try to use the Maxmax for trials, it will be to heavy and the wrong shape. Do they ride well by the way? I ride street / DJ aswell.
  11. Here I have 2 questions that might help a few people. How do i bleed my brakes with a bleed kit? How do i water bleed them? I need to know both as i want to bleed mine with the kit and water bleed some for a friend. Any response is welcomed. Thanks. Davey.
  12. It may be a while, need to get all my shiney new parts first. But this is the first place i'll be putting pics for you.
  13. Me and Stu above come from same town. I took his display pic. I am truly sorry to hear about your friend, man your doing well to be writing about it and dont let anyone put you down about your helmet just use the better safe than sorry line. If you ever need anyone to ride with if your round bingham area give me or stu a shout and we'll be straight there. Good luck man. Davey.
  14. I'm gonna get back to the thread topic, SNAKE BITES !!!!! Even with anti pinch tubes and tyres Where do they come from, who knows. Lets find who invented pinch flats and kill him. Maybe then we can solve the problem of gravity, damn you Issac Newton and your "inventions". Also that noise you bike frame makes when it brakes and the sudden OH S*** moment afterwards.
  15. Put forks into frame Put on all of ur spacers but one and your stem without the top bolt, as you would normally. draw a line on the steerer tube with a dry wipe felt tip, remove stem and spacers, cut on the dry wipe mark. Put bars back on WITH the spacer u left off and u have a good length steerer tube with the correct space at the top of tube between stem. Hope that helps learnt that from a man that runs a bike shop. The reason for removing one spacer to start with is to make sure you have the correct space between steerer tube and stem, if the gap is less than 5mm you will get seriosu wobble in the fornt end which could end up with some nasty damage to your headset, or worse snapping your frame. Good luck. Davey.
  16. That chucker isn't very modified, but it still looks nice, i also own a jump bike. A specialized P1 with marzochi DJ3's, avid juicy 3 rear, dmr v8 pedals and crmo wing bars, truvativ crank. From what the diamondback sounds like i think it might be a good swap, if you could get a full spec that might help a bit more . the magurs brakes will work well, but if it has halo rims they may be a bit heavy as they are Dirt jumping wheels usually also the crank is the same as my Specialized's its very strong but it doesnt have the front free wheel which helps alot in trials and it is also a bit heavy. All in all it is a better bike that your chucker but it will take some getting used to probably, big wheel size drop. I'm getting same problems with my T-pro, the size change is very noticiable. Hope i helped.
  17. Sorry, when i said stock i ment standard and it is far from complately standard, it has all round maggies and new pedals/ grips. When telling me stuff please note i am new to trials lol also i am gonna do this up everntually once i catch the trials bug, planning on, New echo stem and either echo or try all yourself bars. I think try all rims with white spokes and a new front disk hub. DMR V8 or gusset slim jim pedals. Maxxis creepy crawlers. I also need some new grips any suggestions ? If i've missed any parts you think i need changing for now please tell me i am new and everything. Thanks Davey. Also while i'm thinking about it. I'm currently runing a HS33 raceline stripped back to the metal, Would an avid bb5 on the front wheel be better than this or should i stick with the maggie?
  18. I have just got my 06 T-pro. I'm really happy with it just need to get the bb sorted properly. Right heres a basic spec, and ill try put a picture on at some point. Magura HS33 raceline front, and brand new rear. Stock onza bars, wheels and stem. Onza muscle man crank. Onza tyres fron 06. (Getting creepy crawlers.) DDG light yellow pedals. Some really wierd blue grips that im also changing. I hope this is to some of your tastes, i think its going to serve me well as a start bike, probably going to get some fluro pink wheels at some point. Any points people make are welcomed . Thanks Davey.
  19. I myself own a specialized jump bike and have been riding for many years, the best bike out of the lot is the identiti 666, it has some very high grade parts, halo combat wheels, Gusset lil git stem and open prison bars, gusset crank and ok tektro disk brakes, not only is it an amazing bike for the money it is also very strong but suprisingly light, this bike is going to be my next investment after my onza t pro. I really would consider the 666s, a specialized p1 07, cannondale chase, dmr drone or transition. The best by far is the identiti 666s though.
  20. I like the way that even some of the people on this forum with the most expensive bikes and most experience don't mock us new riders. Kinda restores your faith in mankind abit, good to know that when im learning to kickhop or sidehop i wont get mocked because im not good, seems people like you would much rather come over and help me rather than mock me because my bike isn't a top model one. Really nice to see nice people here.
  21. I have a very unique paint job planned, i mean very unique, it might not be to all of your tastes but i think it'll look amazing. I'm not gonna give any details away but when its done i'll post it so you can all see and gimme your opinions.
  22. Just a suggestion, from street mtb. If your rear freewheels is slightly resisting, when you wheelie it scts slightly like a brake pushing you back down, if you know how take the freewheels apart and check the ratchet and bearings if these are dry lube them up and you'r problem will be solved. Probably not the issue but if it is it's quite a quick fix.
