take it out, jet was the bb cups and get all your grit out of the threads, clean the bb down and eveything, re-grease it all and put it back in if this doedn't work buy a new bb Davey. xx

Right because this isn't my bike i thought i'd post it here. Its called a switch blade and it seems that these people have never heard the word subtle. Why don't all trials bikes look like this and yet remain light . Comment it all u like .

Give the brake a few weeks to bed in, if the problem continues try to adjust the pads so that merely touching the lever pulls the brakes, if neither of these solve it you should get your mounts faced PROFESSIONALLY don't try to bodge it, this will just line up the mounts properly and allow you to get the pads within nanometers of the disk without rub. DO NOT put a new one over the top delibaratley over tighten the top bolt it'll bend it then knock it out with the handle of a spanner or screw driver and a hammer. Sorry i hadnt nopticed this topic so ill post a response, i have now cleared everything up and the bike is no longer on ebay, during the course of the swap i may have accidently had an accident and ridden into the back of a car i now owe the guy that owns it about 200 quis for the replacement and fitting i ahdnt got round to telling tristan as ithad onmly been half a day before he started complaining. i posted it on ebay and forgot to remove the trade listing on here. sorry for any inconvinience and i now have the bike sorted for this saturday any way, im useless i know but i didnt plan to ride into the back of a car, sorry tristan, but my jump bike and new trials need work and that car aint gonna pay for itself, it seems as though tristan jumped of the mark a bit here cus i text him the DAY after the incident to explain so yer i am no scammer as tango will tell you. Right several things, Its a giant glory not a GT, plus the other 2 are freeride bikes not downhill. kona stinky = FREERIDE specialized big hit = FREERIDE you want something like a norco, santa cruz v10, anything along those lines but make sure its a long travel downhill bike NOT a mid travel freeride bike, sorry im a bit of a DH, FR and DJ nerd.

If your gonna use it for trials yer good idea, if your gonna use it for downhill you would die, the strain on the bead would be to high it's just pop out of the rim and death to you my deer friend.

If any of you live in the nottingham area there is a bicycle shop called cycle repairs in beeston owned by a nice old lady, the mechanic who works there is in my opinion best in the country he will helicoil your mounts, bb, anything you want done porbably £10 for the lot, i can try get contact details and i only know this because of work experience last year!!!!

if he can stretch to £200 no less i have a t-pro. or i could trade for a jump bike of some sort:) PM me.

the stock specialized ones, dont think it was nethign to do with the hub, i belive io may have got sand in it cus there loose bb rather than sealed so yer think gradual ripping lol.
