  1. If you saw Adam ride you'd understand. Smooth as!!

Well as soon as i get my car sorted i'm hoping to get along to some of the organised rides. Definately looking forward to riding with people who are much better (and smoother) than myself and generally hanging my head in shame :ermm:

    No offense meant btw

Also just watched a vid of his, definately smooth.

  2. Was just wondering what sort of pressure people run their tyres at? Whats the optimal pressure for bump absorption whilst also resisting pinchs?

    Also, whats prefered:

Lightweight thin tube with increased risk of puncture/pinch

    or

Thick tube with less risk of puncture/pinch but increased weight.

  3. Definately gotta be the one with nob-head who's tryin to flog you windows...you know...you buy one, you get one free...i said you buy one you get one free.

ARGH!!!!! If i ever see that bloke i swear i'm gonna do a sprocket stall on his face...see how chirpy he is then!

  4. Back to front is just dirty

True, especially if you're a woman...severe risk of toxic shock syndrome!

    What..The..F*ck..

Lol till my non-shitty balls fall off!

Back to front haha. Who in their right mind would want pooey bollocks unless your gay or into scat lol.

    Front to back, sat down.

    Lol...again!

  5. Following the success of the "great piss debate", i thought i'd start a "great poo debate" as well.

    The question is:

Do you wipe standing up, or sitting down? Also, front to back, or back to front?

Once again, apologies for the randomness.

  6. I think it all depends on whether you're riding on your own or with other trials riders. Its so much quicker to learn with others. On your own can take time, just depends how determined your are and how much time you got.

    P.s. WTF is booning?

  7. I'm right foot forward but i'm practicing with the left at the moment (not as i write this...obviously!). Just cos i think that when it comes down to it, you wanna be able to do tricks with either foot forward, also to either direction...no limits then.

  8. Rather than sand them down and risk having a really crappy finish on them, buy yourself some nitro-mors. This stuff is hardcore, i used it to strip the paint off my frame. All you do is paint it onto the bars, leave for a bit. Touch it up a bit with some more, then the paint will just wipe off.

Just a note though, wear thick gloves to do this. The latex ones i used dissintegrated and so did some of the skin on my fingers...like i said...its hardcore stuff!

Available from most diy stores, B&Q etc.

Also, to lacquer the bars, use a spray lacquer (also available from B&Q etc) and apply several thin coats. Be patient with it all though, the longer you take, generally the better the finish.

  9. I'd personally get the commencal maxmax, as its cheap, the frames awesome and with the cash left over you can get yourself some choice upgrades.

    (Y) personally i'd go for dmr all the time, (got two)

but out of those 2 you mentioned i'd say the identiti

I've lost all my faith in DMRs. A load of the guys i used to ride with managed to snap the front end off them. I'm not saying it'll happen to you, but the fact that its happened before means there's a high chance it'll happen again.

  10. Vehicle body filler. Make sure that when you do it the conditions are dry and warm and leave it for the recommended time otherwise it will sink and look shit when you paint it and get some filler primer afterwards.

This is definately your best option, and its relatively cheap as well. Just make sure you prep the surfaces (sand and clean) properly first to ensure you get the best quality job possible.

Sometimes it wont be necessary to get filler primer as often its designed to be sprayed straight over, but obviously check the pack first.

  11. I hate people watching, and when your in the middle of something shouting "your wheels turning!"

Supposed we all have to get use to these people.

Yep. But what i hate the most is riding round and having idiots go "wheres your seat gone?" or "why haven't you got a seat, isn't it annoying?".

Actually, having no seat isn't as annoying as idiots like yourselves asking me where its gone!!!
