Shall i just carry on regardless or maybe realise that at 23 i should sell the bike and be boring.
If trials is something you really love of course you should carry on regardless. At the end of the day trials is awesome to watch even for some joe bloggs off the street, so you're bound to get people watching you now and again.
I'm 26 and have been riding dirt jump and DH for the last 5 years (due to location etc) and took up trials again in november last year. I've got into loads of fights with pikies trying to rob my bike but thats just cos i live in a sketchy area. This shit happens whether you're riding your bike or on your mobile. You just gotta decide if you're gonna man up and take the risk, or pussy out and give up all the things you love cos some muppets think its fun to nick what not theirs.
Perhaps we should start an anti-chav/anti-pikie militia. Become trials mercenaries....whos with me?

If i shake only twice i'll have a piss stain.
Sometimes i can shake about 10 times and think all the piss has gone, but then as soon as i put him away he trickles down my leg! b*****d dribble!!! -
Well i had a good street session the other day and have just about managed to sort it out. Only on raised platforms and stuff. Give it a feww weeks and i'll be doing it on rails and stuff...hopefully.

If i could, i'd go back and never apply for my credit cards. I got them when i was back in uni and still have them now...completely maxxed!
At the moment i have almost 7 grand on cards...i did buy two bikes and loads of cds, dvds etc, but reckon i'll be paying these off for the rest of my life!?
At the end of the day, if you can afford to live without them, do it. Otherwise try and pay it off asap, or work it so that you keep switching between cards with 0% balance transfers, that way at least you're only paying for the money you've borrowed rather than the stupid amounts of interest.

Just checked out the slow motion vid and its not the trick i was after. My fault i didnt really describe it properly.
Its when you're hoping up a ledge etc and you launch yourself up, land front wheel first (kind of into an endo position), then switch to back wheel with the front up in the air.

Also, what're the chances of being able to fashion one of these out of a camelback? Just think of all that extra time you'll be able to spend riding if you can pee on the go, and no-one need ever know your were taking a slash
Ok shall we add in the shake factor everyone agree on more thatn two shakes is a wank??I always thought it was three shakes. I think it all depends on how big your wanger is and if you've got incontinency issues.
Also, just had to say how impressed i am that a topic on pissing technique has become a "hot topic". I'm sure my parents would be proud!

Surely the bathroom? Otherwise if you're out in nature i dont suppose the trees care if you piss on them or around them.

Was just wondering if anyone had tried riding their stock with slick tyres?
Was trying to find out if they'd work out lighter. Also, most of the riding i do is street and wondered if there'd be enough grip?

I've been watching the vids on here and see theres a lot of transfers from front to back wheel when going up a ledge or something. What i wanna know is how on earth do you do it? Also if theres any slow motion video footage of the move on here?

I'm guessing part of the reason I'm no good at those moves is that they're good for style, but not useful for actually getting a bike over stuff so I don't really practice them while I'm riding...

Too true..annoyingly!
Just a thought as well. I was riding one of my bikes and it kept doing the same thing, going off to one side. It wasnt till ages later i realised i'd actually snapped the frame on the chainstays. Hopefully its not the case for you, but worth checking just in case.
