A ffw on a 122.5 not surprised it rubs and i think you need a 127.5 BB to be able to run a ffw.

Just tried heat + hammer but i couldnt find my blow torch can thingy so i used a can of lynx and a lighter but still nothing.

Tried heating it up yesterday but still nothing,then later on yesterday i got a small spanner that put the open end on one of the sprocket teeth and hit it with a big lump hammer for about an hour didnt work either, but not tried heating it up and hitting with a hammer will try that now.

:@ Still cant get it off even snapped 3 teeth in the process of trying, is there anyone i could send the crank to to try and get it off please, pm me if you think you can get it off and im sure we could sort something out.

Yep powder coaters ive just been quoted £35 but i think i will get it down to about £30.

Is there any way to do it without a vice as i dont have acess to one.

I have a little problem. Basically there is a sprocket stuck on my cranks, they have been down the bike shop for 2 weeks and the bloke said it wont budge. So is there any alternate methods of getting the sporcket off. BTW i dont want the sprocket just the crank.

Do you think they will charge more for colours other than black/white?

£50 thats a bit steep why not just take it to a car spraying place im sure they would spray it for about £20?

to be honest i dont really know how the process works i think its something about the positive charge of the powder sticking to the frame???? But all i know is that you will get a very nice finish.

Hmm and i will probably get it cheaper than thet of the other company to, im hoping when i phone them back tomorow they say about £28. Funny thing is though the companys are on the same industrial estate just a couple of units away from each other.

Im thinking of getting my frame powdercoated, ive phoned up a few places. One said £35 and then i phoned up another and told them id been quoted £30 and asked them if they could beat that, they said they probably could but told me to phone back tomorow. What do you think is a reasonable price to pay for powdercoating?

I see what your all saying and dont disagree or agree, but putting someone to death for armed robbery? I think that is a bit OTT as i know someone currently in prison for armed robbery, and the reason he did it waas because he was sleeping on the streets, he wasnt on drugs or nothing like that just needed some cash to try and make his life better. So i think the goverment should try and help people like this before they have the chance to commit a crime.
