  1. just drill and helicoil it, probably easiest apart from the extractors
  2. read what i said. i dont mind where it is, or when. i also suggested sheff which is about 3 hours for me to get to. and i dont even know if its good to ride, i dont even care what its like to ride at. that was the point i was trying to make basically....
  3. i wasnt arguing where it was or when it was, i just put an idea across. the point i made was just cus it seems like people just want a big group ride that they can get to. birmingham might be the most accessable place? but Beau always complained about being bored of brum, think it would be better riding in memory of Beau in a place he loved rather than one he didnt.
  4. staying at a camp site so i dont think getting them sent there will be too easy and i'm really fussy about my brakes lol guna have to plead to the parents lol
  5. i leave for cornwall thursday morning... havnt really got 17 quid or so to spend on pads either..
  6. Yeah this will just be a street ride really.... Danny seems to be organising a proper ride similar to Dj's memorial ride for next year. think he's looking into doing it at the mary stevens park that Beau had the accident
  7. I'm in desperate need of new brake pads, preferably for smooth rim. something like plaz. anyone got anything? if so how much?
  8. maybe we could have it at cov then, but he told me that he loved bristol loads. Tom Baszo even suggested Bristol to me and one of Beau's bmx mates thought bristol was his favourite riding place aswell.... people seem to have missed the point i made earlier in the thread, i wasnt arguing where it should be or when it should be. just that it seems that some people just want a big ride, closer to them the better. rather than going to somewhere Beau loved to ride in memory of Beau. edit: think it was Joe Baxter who said that him and Beau were arranging a ride in sheff? that could be a good place to have the ride. good idea?
  9. where did dj live.... abingdon, did i argue about where it should be? did i moan about how long it took to get there? no. my attitude has nothing to do with the turn out, people who loved Beau would be willing to travel to his favourite riding location.
  10. people who just want a big ride close to where they live, f**k off Beau loved bristol, thats why i suggested bristol. its for Beau, not for people who want a big ride. 7th of september was suggested as its his birthday.
  11. not 100% sure on where to have it yet.... i'm pretty sure his favourite place to ride was bristol but anyone got any idea's? his birthday was on 7th september, could have the ride then ? think its a sunday... anyway, fire away with idea's
