  1. Nice vid! Not sure why that kid would laugh.. but whatever! Keep up the great riding!
  2. I thought the Echos worked amazing. The only problem I found was my TPA broke and jamed the lever, but with the new TR ones the problem is fixed because of where the TPA is. I'm also using the Coust pads at the moment. They work amazing! Especially with a grind.
  3. My friend actually just broke his Gu ST after not even a year of riding. He broke it at the CNC'd rear disc support. So I wouldn't suggest it haha.
  4. My bike is already covered in scratches anyway.
  5. Haha yeah, it was disgusting. I was using platform pedals and one of the pins must have been super sharp so it pretty much just sliced it open all the way to the bone. Luckily it wasn't a super long tear and was just super deep so the scare isn't as gigantic. I've been using shins ever since Right now I'm using trials specific Hebo gloves. They work excellent! Not terribly expensive either. They have finger padding to protect your fingers from the brake levers which I thought was a huge plus because my old ones didn't and I'd cut my fingers every ride. They're also super light weight and have vents to air out your hands. I strongly suggest them!
  6. Last summer I went riding in the rain and my pedals slipped. I ended up splitting my shin in half and my tibia fell out. I strongly suggest you wait for the rain to stop! Or invest in a nice thick pair of shin pads!
  7. Hey everyone! My real name is Ben Klunder. I'm from Brantford, Ontario, Canada and love bike trials! I've been riding just just over a year. I also enjoy Hockey and rugby. I'm currently riding a Meta VTT Trials and love it!
  8. I'm gonna have to go with the BB7 as well. Mine worked in fast, it was easy to adjust, super strong, and not terribly expensive either!
  9. I'm currently using Coust pads. They work excellent in dry weather and amazing in wet weather aswell. I strongly suggest getting a pair.
  10. Hahaha, just trying to help brew.
  11. Thanks! I really appreciate that. I'll try it.
  12. I know there was recently a thread about who's the best UK rider, but there are a lot more talented riders outside of the UK such as Thomas Ohler, TRA, Vincent Hermance.. I think it would be neat if everyone posted a video of their favorite riders across the world. Mine would have to be: Vincent Hermance - Ryan Leech - http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-68...amp;q=manifesto What are yours?? Ben
  13. Right now I'm using the Cannon ZR800 mini DV camera. Works excellent! Not too expensive either! Ben
  14. The most common advice I get from people to improve my riding is to "gap from the edge." I have a hard time doing this.. I find once I'm on the edge of what I'm gapping from I just roll right off and get no distance at all compared to "rolling into the gap." Can someone break down what exactly I need to do? I tried the Wiki but it did nothing for me.. This is the most recent footage of me (i'm on the red Meta): Please help me correct my poor technique! Ben
  15. True, but I never said all weed is grown in sheds, ofcoarse some isn't and may be improted illegally. Also weed doesn't need to be snuck into where i live. It actually grows naturally in Canada. Also, even though the some drugs may not involve the addition of chemicals they're smuggled into the country like you had mentioned before because they're exotic, where marijuana can be grown easily at home or can be picked up in hospitals. Anyway, I never meant to get into an argument, I was just saying, I don't care people smoke weed, it's their life and no one has the right to tell them they live their life wrong.
  16. Yes actually, because weed you grow, pick, dry and it's all set. Heroin and other hard drugs are more complex. You need to make with different chemicals that you usually don't just do at home.. and that's when the organized crime comes in play, they dedicate their time and money into creating the drug.
  17. It's weed not heroin. You don't buy weed from some sketchy dealer involved in gang violence. Usually it's from a burnout friend who grows it themselves. Atleast where I live that's how it works.
  18. Well I don't burn myself, but you're not going to prison for it (unless you're selling it). You're not going to get addicted to it.. (unless you're mixing it with other drugs), So it's really not a huge problem, do whatever you want, it's your body.
  19. Craig Lee Scott or Tunnicliffe for sure. Danny Mac is a champ though too.
  20. That's a beaut, What's the BB height? it looks massive.
  21. Hahah yeah, we've been busy. We counted mountain biking ones though from a couple years ago. Wal-mart
  22. It's from youtube being stupid haha, it uploaded weird
  23. Thanks, we'll definitely try that.
