Smoking causes cancer. Not just lung cancer. smoking causes cancer. Ask a radiotherapist how many of the people who have cancers also smoke. 99% of the people who use this forum are under 25 I bet. There are no excuses, anybody on here who smokes is a complete tool. It would almost appear that it is cool to say that you smoke but then go on about trying to quit. With the current "victim" culture we have, people seem to be drwn in to the idea that they can't do anything about a situation which they themselves have created. There are no real reasons to start smoking in the first place. The most common reason people give is peer pressure. But that just shows poor character and judgement on their behalf. I don't smoke, none of my close friends smoke and I would never date a girl who smoked. Recently there was a movement to ban smoking in public in Liverpool, the local council voted overwhelmingly in favour of the ban and the motion had to be put before parliament for a law to be passed. The government didn't agree however. WTF is that all about?!! I was pissed off for weeks and made a massive point of letting anybody smoking near me in a confined space know about it. I see smoking a public declaration of stupidity. Dan

I think it's terrible that you have to pay for your passport, something which is your right as a British citizen. You pay your tax. If there would be any charge you'd think it would just be cost. Charging £42 for one can't really be justified in my eyes. Dan

The singer and guitarist in my band went to see Oasis in Manchester last week. They said it was abosolutely shite. I think we can stop banging on about 'skill' since the 'targets' are right in his face. I'd assume that anyone who fires a gun as often he does would have a good feel for just pointing and shooting at that sort of range. When Caisso appeared at the Bike Show he was on the twin disc but he actually rode the Radical to win the worlds just before that. The twin disc frame had a slightly longer looking back end, from what I remember, and a well higher bottom bracket. Dan

I found it difficult to watch really. I think you should ditch that wide angle lens, especially when filming riding on rocks. You can't really see what they're actually doing. It's hard to do natural riding justice on camera and that just makes it worse. Dan.

ooh, you've got to heat treat it. you've got to heat treat it. you've got to heat treat it. this allways happens, someone cracks a frame and suddenly everybody's an engineer. Take it to a decent welder, see if they can cut the crack out or gusset it and then any extra time you get out of the frame is a bonus. Forget all that heat treating babble. It's obviously on it's way out anyway. Dan
