this may sound like being a bit of a kill joy and that is not my intention at all just more of a question
when riding in a comp, are you allowed to touch the white tape markers with your wheels, i was lead to believe you would score a 5 in the section if you did that
because on a number of occasions especially when he takes a runup at an obstacle his rear wheel clips the tape or appears to be have been in contact with it prior to setting off forwards
i hope he didnt receive a 5 for those sections because he rode them spotlessly and quickly
can anyone clear that up for me
thanks

i was searching for echo supatrial tyres and they said they had some followed the link and had a browse

Just had a glance on trials uk website
noticed they are selling a 120 engagment point hub
at a lower price than a chris king
anybody used on of these? seems too good to be true
also on the topic of chris kings......
anybody used aspirevelotech
if i just bought a chris king classic would that be ok or would it drop to bits
i hear the warranty does not cover trials

am i the only one who hated those oldschool riders? i know that they are good... but its much more boring to watch lenosky riding trials than damon, neil, or any other tgs style rider.
dont start another tgs vs street or oldschool trials pleas its just my opinion
danny holroyd and all the old skool trialskings boys got the balance just right i think

have you considered the ones which hook over the top of your ear lobes
i use them in the gym
they still have a inner ear type setup but a piece of lastic which fits around you lobe like a pair of glasses do

Hi Guys
i was working on my xc bike and had to replace the mech and took the hanger off in order to remove it and reduce the risk of cross threading when i put it back on
but i lost the little allen key bolt which attaches my mech hanger to the frame.

i know i may sound out of the loop but what does TGS stand for
-
Its SP51, 5mm gear cable outer housing (normal gear outer is 4mm, but this is big enough for you to use with a standard brake inner cable). http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/shimano-sp5...-item12520.html
Also you can use BMX linear brake cables, these have the same 5mm gear cable outer. Thats what I use and its just as good as the Shimano stuff but usually a bit more expensive. I prefer Animal bike co cables, they come with decent metal ferrules(the end bits to the outer) which help to stop the outer from pulling apart.
thanks man thats made a lot more sense to me
and you found it in a shop which is like 10mins from where i live but when i rang them they said they didnt have any nevermind ill print the page and proove em wrong
im very happy cant thank you enough
i grinded my rim today aswell very pleased with the result!!!
its making progress

Key phrase.

read the topic "good set up for a rear v brake"
im having a similar task at the moment some people have given some good advice
-
hye, was looking for some advice,
i know this kid that has a shinamo diore rear V
and i have a brand now white hs33 in the box
do you reckon if he got some tnn pads, a booster and an sd7 lever, it would be a good trade?
p.s. i have v mounts, and a shinamo sp5 cable from my gears when i converted to single speed
or some heatsinks
where did you get your sp5 cable from?
or do you have one for sale?
