Riding shoes?? hhhmmm i personaly find wearing my nike airmax work well but really as quoted before you want something with a thick pattern thread on the sole for grip but you want some thing to allow your feet to breathe which is easy to find really ,but as most nike trainers are running/sportswear they don,t offer much protection around the ankle which i would find helpful for when have to bail ,and in most case its hard to land correctly resulting and sprains and twists but if you had ankle support this may minimise the chance of this happening So really you wan to be looking for breatheabilty,comfort and ankle protection
