  1. Look like Shimanos from that picture
  2. James is being put forward as a canditate for the official Onza team. Not the rock'n'roll bikes team, they are to be run separatly
  3. You wont be able to just 'join'. It is still going to be run as a team, all riders will be selected. I imagine it doesn't matter what you are running at the begining, but as part of the team you will be expected to run Onza/Tensile/Rock'n'Roll products
  4. For me Soderstrom owned that vid, always loved his style and he looks to be killing it
  5. More info and pics on the Monty M5 that was first posted a few days back http://www.pinkbike.com/news/Monty-M5-Carbon-Trials-Bike-Eurobike-2011.html
  6. Seriousley impressive stuff dude, good luck in Champery
  7. Joe (Seddon) mentioned something about this to me about this the other day. I'll have a chat with Joe Poyzer in a couple weeks when we come up for Rnd 4 @ Bracken Sounds like a great idea

    Found this on Tribalzine
  9. There was about 7 of us down there on Sunday, was a good ride. Also, you may want to re-post this in the 'Member organised rides' section
  10. Lube it up, something thin like GT85 should be alreet
  11. He's a roadie now. All shaven legged and lycra'd up
  12. Not advised. The floating rotors are designed to help stop warping at high temperatures by allowing the rotor to expand as it heats. These are NOT designed for the short, sharp lock braking used needed in trials. I've seen a few posts of snapped floating rotors over on OTN
  13. For the Bracken weekend yeah, me and Joe are heading up some time on the Saturday. Not sure of our exact plans yet but we'll definitely not be doing it all in one day!
  14. I've only met and ridden with Josh a couple of times but when I snapped my Speedrace Fans he offered to weld it up. The job was spot on and he got it done and sent back to me in no time at all I rode it for a further month or so before getting my Slate 3. It is still in my room as a spare if I snap the Rockman I would recommend his workmanship without hesitation
  15. Getting the preload right is arguably the most important part of nailing gaps to front -Set up pointing pretty much straight on -When you preload lean right back so you're weight is over the rear. -On the pedal kick pull the bars into your waist and as your body explodes out - you ideally want your front wheel to travel in an arc, imagine your front wheel is trying to clear something in the middle of the gap. -Extend your arms out again as you're about to plant the front wheel in, keeping your shoulders obove the bars and your weight forward. -On impact, keep leaning over till your balance point feels right to make the switch See you at Bracken rocks?
  16. Only person i've heard of breaking one was Carthy
  17. True, the Trialtechs are a decent pair of cranks, especially regarding price. They just look cheep IMO. Not that i'm overly keen on my Echo's, they have that classic 'Deng' look to them But they are light
  18. http://www.trialprod.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=50&products_id=491 Trialprod - French retailer. Always been super happy with their service, delivery is usually within 3 days Edit: and you get a free pen
  19. Yeah man, loving my echo's light, pretty good looking and have a good ammount of offest for slave clearance
