  1. I have a Bionic B5R, and it is just simply the best frame I have ever ridden, after an Echo Control 2009, Onza Limey 3, and Mad Phase 1.2. It is super rigid. Also, I have missed quite a lot of taps and hit the frame rather hard and that that should have harshly dented/killed the frame, but there is absolutely nothing! It is a light TANK bike! The geometry feels awesome, so go for it!
  2. We can't decide for you wether to take it or not mate, it's up to you... If you want to change your frame, then the Gu TP is a great frame if you can afford it. But look, I am french, and I try to never make spelling mistakes. Of course, sometimes, it happens, but not every two words like you! So try to make an effort, and if you want to get validated, then work on your spelling mate! No hard feelings...
  3. A friend has some echo TR brake but with oil in it, they are just horrible and they feel like crap. Buy some maguras, and bleed it with some water! Then, you will have to spend 30 minutes to set them perfectly, and you will have a perfect brake! EDIT: and about the internals, aluminium does rust but this creates some white protection cover on it, because contrary to most metal, the rust doesn't penetrate the metal, it just stays on the surface and helps protecting it!
  4. Haha! Well said! Honestly, about your bike choice, it depends about how you ride (smooth, basher...), where you ride (natural or street, or both...), and how you are (height, weight...)! Tell us a bit more about all these things and then we will be able to answer your question!
  5. I broke mine, but I didn't had any problem with my brake setting... Get a try-Hole no war rim!
  6. Continental Mountain King 2.4 TUBELESS... 790 grams, thick sidewalls (so great rebound and puncture resistance) and great grip! Don't use it Tubeless of course!
  7. OH GOD! If you don't want to buy some Brake clamps to have more adjustment (Try alls or TNN) then go for 18-16. Otherwise you will brake on your tire... So now you know! I had an echo Control 2009 and my chain was slack so that my brake could be aligned with the rim... even though I had some Try-all clamps and a brand new chain... I was riding 18-15.
  8. Great mate, especially with Pink Floyd music, I always wondered how a video with this music would look like: LURRRRRVELY!
  9. I have been riding one for 6 months, and I have been riding it nearly everyday, it took some serious bash on the downtube, and had nothing more than scratches each time... And this, to my greatest surprise.
  10. What is the music please?

    New Hs33 Brake

Horrid'! Would like to see it with a long lever though, hopefully, it doesn't look as it would break anymore...
  12. Believe me, you take no risks buying that frame, it doesn't feel short at all! It rides so nicely! Go for it! 2mm thick tubes everywhere!
  13. I ride quite a lot (but I am crap...), and I never made any video of myself, but that might be a good idea as I go down town tomorrow afternoon. Right now, I spent two hours riding that beauty. Oh my god! it rides awesome, taps are much more easy, but that's probably because the Echo was flexy, so it seems harder... Sidehops are great because the bike just naturally makes you fold your knees and get the front wheel on the wall first ( even though I still have to get use to the bike to get the maximum out of it ). All the bunny hops and taps I had to do with a pedal turn before, I now do it easily with a half-pedal turn. Yes Uldis, depending on your bars and stem, this bike just feels more natural, everything seems easier.
  14. Not at all! The geo is very different mate! Now it rides ace, but I didn't give it a proper ride yet! Well it rides nice for a short frame, the long stem helps the bike to feel longer! I have never hitted my knees in the bars, and I don't how it can be possible really...
  15. Wait until Nicolas answers back, he is a friend and will not let you down!
  16. Hello, here is my new frame for the next year(s?). It's a Bionic B5R that I bought on http://www.trialparts.net/. This company is just perfect, 200 euros for the frame posted. I ordered it last tuesday, it arrived today. So that's simply the fastest shippig ever! Verified geometry of this frame: 1080; +65 (with Echo Urban Fork); 375 (with tensionned chain and 18:15 ratio). The frame weight 1748 grams verified! I don't know the weight of this complete build and I don't care anymore! Important components are: rear Rockman single wall rim, Coust! pads (thanks to Michel!), front Vee, Try-all Rage Bar 08 (best bars ever!) and front magneisum rim. Time for pics: Huge thanks to trialparts.net! Thanks to you for watching!
  17. It is and Gilles isn't in it because he refused to be appearing in it...
  18. I can't dowload that video, so no... sorry!

  20. I am actually a friend of Kieran so I know about all that! What I meant is that Kieran would have said that this frame is pure shit! And I agree!
  21. Wow, that's so inspiring! You rule Jack!
  22. I am surprised Kieran hasn't answered yet...
