That would be my guess yes.
-
Oh that's what you are refering to? Then I get it.
-
The trolls? What are you talking about?

While everyone may be watching the impressive new edit with Charlie Rolls from MindControl, I just discovered Pavel Borisevich from Russia is still riding, and pretty well! Enjoy!
-
It's a little more complex than that. It may become clear in the near future... Ross knows what you mean. It's just there is absolutely nothing you can do.

The UCI doesn't care in any form of cycling anymore, they just want to make their investors happy. I don't want to insult anyone here. I have done so in the past and now my reputation is very bad in the trials world because I said many things I should probably never have. People didn't trust me or what I was saying even if it turned out to be true years later. I won't repeat that mistake and explain to you why that guy is very good at selling himself so you will have to try and make your opinion. But I can defend Gilles and his family because he is a lovely guy. I go and see him nearly once a year and I am happy to say we are friends. We have always told each other things how we wanted to tell them and it's not something you can do everywhere with everyone in France. I don't see what business you are talking about seeing they hardly have had any apart from their dad selling pads even cheaper directly than through distributors.

If you follow road racing, track racing, or any other cycling races, you will see many times questionable penalties that hold teams or racers to win. Rules can be changed also quite dramatically to favor or penalize one team or one racer. And each time you can definitely predict it before it happens. They are just a bunch of old people who just want to make money out of media. And the best and most modern way to make that is to make people talk about you. I am impressed by the work he goes through and his determination but I am really not a fan of the person he is and the way he promotes himself so I won't read or listen to what he says.

The UCI doesn't like when it's always the same person winning. It has always been this way. I have mad respect for the work Vincent has put in to keep his level and skills how they are. Very impressive at 40! But watching women trials is very boring I am sorry to say.

Nah, I just tasted it like 20 years ago when I went to Scotland to work. Energy drinks are not my thing at all, it's just I never tasted anything else that was even close to it.
-
Does Irn Bru still exist? I am talking about its taste all the time to my wife as we have nothing here that tastes like it. Very nice bike anyway, even if I am not into seat bikes!
-
Don't quote me on that though, it's more a rumor than anything certain. I have a hard time understanding why Excens (owner of Hebo too) would want to sell Clean when they are nearly the only ones who have some stock.
-
Nice edit, I have always been a fan of your riding, this didn't disappoint! Keep up the good riding!
-
I heard Clean has been sold. That may explain these weird decisions... Dropped stays?

Pads are made from polyurethane. They have some molding agents in them that require some time to evaporate to make the pads usable for trials. Time actually makes some of them better. I wouldn't say they expire but UV make them harder (around 96-7 Shores A from 90 Shores A), so maybe harder than needed for trials.
-
This is really clean. I think you should be really happy of what you have come with!
-
Well, seems you don't know Gilles and Giaco, and how the UCI and them are not friends... I couldn't bother driving there and see riders climb up obstacles and get down using the same technique over and over again with zero difference within riders.
-
That is just France, I live 1 hour from the event, and didn't bother goint to it. Trials comps are boring anyway nowadays...
-
Thought of that as well, I wonder why they haven't yet.
-
I haven't watched it at all, only a few moments but it didn't peak my interest at all...
-
Thanks so much for this Shindig Media. But Trials competition are becoming very boring to watch, get up an obstacle, get down, get up, get down, nothing in between them, always the same moves (impressive nonetheless)...
-
Not bad luck, I am afraid many have had the same issue...
-
I must add that even MTB are pretty cheap compared to road bikes. They have no suspension, yet they are the F1 of bikes. Popular bike category they said!
-
That is also very true, even the entry level bikes from Crewkerz or Clean are a lot of money. And that is a shame as it's clearly something putting off any starter or beginner's parents. Also it's funny you call them big brands or that you compare them to Ferrari as for example Christian doesn't live from selling Crewkerz bikes and he has to continue DJing to be able to live! I find this sad...
-
You make a very good point there. Also there has never been so many dedicated trials "training" grounds so that makes trials even more exclusive! You wouldn't believe if I told you I live in the french Alps, there are tons of natural stuff to be ridden but no one in 3 trials club one hour each from the other knows of any places! Because the training grounds they have cover all the needs for competitions. Is it me or are there less shows than there used to be? I was riding at one today and it was years since I had done my last one... That is also a great advertisement for our sport! But I will keep saying it: modern trials and modern techniques make trials as boring as it ever was. Once you have seen one hook up move and one front wheel move you have basically seen the rest of the competition. The UCI has tried so many things to make the sport media friendly than comp riders don't ride lines in comps anymore. They basically go up one obstacle, go down, and go up again. I know trials has always been weird to watch for people who know nothing about it but I don't think comps have ever been less attractive than it is now.
-
Honestly here in France we don't have MUCH more bikes to choose from... Trials is less attractive than it has ever been nowadays thanks to hook up moves and front wheel moves that just make it very boring and repetitive to watch...
