hi williamspaul,
I ride reading every month or so and am also a newish rider.
Check the rides section every so often and come along to some reading ones. it really does help my riding,
ha, so after changing all those parts, he loved it.
I loved my new Zoot as soon as I stepped on it, not that I can compare it to anything as its my first trials bike.
I have an Onza Zoot. Its my first trials bike so I cant really compare it to anything else. It feels good and strong, although as a beginner i'm hardly putting it through its paces. It looks awesome as well.
Hi,
I have a Giro Hex helmet in white. It feels and looks good. They come in a wide range of sizes and colours from pretty much every bike shop. I recommend them!
A trials bike gear is much lower than the 'average BMX', The lower gear allows the bike to pick up speed quickly.
Basically put, trials bikes aren't made for travelling distances (whatever trialsy bike you have) due to all the wrong geometry and gearing. They are made for having fun when you reach the destination.
I have Onza Shindig 2's on my 24inch bike. I find them really grippy and wide enough.
