Thanks, but thats not the problem. But thanks to a member who I am not to name I know the problem, but I dont know the fix.
Take a look at: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-66020
And I sent an email to IBM saying:
Heys guys at Ibm. I've got a problem with my Thinkpad T60.
I was using it with xp for a long time, then decided to try out windows 7, so I did. All was ok, other than it didn't support my video card.
So after a long while, I decided to install xp again. But I didn't think to check the website for support. It wouldn't let me install it normally, so I decided to ask on a forum I use (trials-forum.co.uk) I'm a keen trials biker and there are a couple of computer 'experts' on there. They told me to change the disk from AHCI to Compatibility mode. So all went smoothly from there. Untill I logged in. It wasn't 'complete' only the recycle bin was on the desktop, nothing on the taskbar was working. Then the idea that the hard disk was still on compatibility mode. So I changed it back, but when restarting, after the xp sign comes up, the 'blue screen of death' pops up. So I checked the site and it mentions how you should install the intel thing (I cant remember exactly whats it's called, but I've downloaded it etc now) before you install the fresh O.P because without installing it, windows will crash to blue screen. But I didn't install it, as I only checked the site afterwards. What do I do, because I really want to be back on my laptop and flying on flight simulator.
Please get back to me guys, Jack.
All they sent back, was an automated message, saying to ring them. Bearing in mind they'll be workin office hours and they're not going to be in right now.
So what do you recon I should do?
