doesnt have an option to change the output file, its slightly laggy when I play it in quick time, but when i try and edit it on adobe premier pro, its really laggy and loses sound help!

I bought a new HD camcorder today, and it works great! Til i found that it records in .mov files which dont work with windows movie maker, they play in quicktime but it seems laggy :/ need help, what has others done? cheers
