  1. And how do you find the weight?I was temted buying them, but im not sure about adding 1+ kg to the bike...
  2. +1 if you thought you would see a picture of a half naked chick here..
  3. How about an Inspired hex with front suspension?
  4. You can fit the hoollowbites onto a 4play if you buy a euro bmx bottom bracket, but they dont fit on a square taper bb.Just use the spindle that they came with...
  5. If you are willing to spend 980 pounds for an element, just save up some more and buy a fourplay.I think no body rides them because the price is too high for a Vee frame...
  6. This must be the most beautiful pair of forks i have ever seen!Anyone know what they are?
  7. Tensile FFW 18t up front and a 12 cog on a rear fixed hub on my inspired. I rode my friends' bike the other day (inspired,18 cog front 12cog on a rear hope freehub)and the pedaling response was pretty much the same...Plus his bike was quite heavier on the back...
  8. i ment oil like royal blood or phluid.I Will search for some bleeding guides and decide next because i have heard more than enough good words about water bleed! Even with the V adaptors it will be better than the magura?Maybe ill give it a go and see what happens
  9. My brake lever exploded while i was riding today! The small bolt on the lever disappeared and left me with a lousy rear brake and contaminated front drisk pads as the brake liquid dripped on the disk brake!!!The question is what do you suggest i bleed it with?brake fluid or bath bleed(i have never bled maguras before or another hydraylic brake)?Another solution would be to get rid of the maggies and get a Vee...Do you think its a good idea or the maggie is better? Thanks,Themis.
  10. I was looking for a new bottom bracket bearing and i came across some external bottom bracket.A quick search on google didnt came up with anything good. Im interested in this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=57954 or this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=40921 or this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=38345 ! Which one do you recomend? As far as the spindle is concerned,it works like a bmx-type bb?I have to buy it separatelly? And im guessing that the isis cranks i own at the momment wont fit... Thanks,Themis
  11. Well,i dont know about the ashton/diamondback,but i advise you to stay away from the zoot!Just save some more money and go for an inspired, used or new...As i had the zoot my self,i found it extremely flexible,(for example,if you are trackstanding with locked brakes, and you press the pedal not really hard, you can see the whole bb shell moving underneath you!)and i was constantly having problems with chain tension...
  12. Do you mean like this one? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=53553 And what do you suggest, should i go for it or stick with trials cranks?
  13. What If i use a trials bb?Or get a bigger axxle?I dont really care about a bashring,i dont get the last part though... (Thanks for your fast replies!)
  14. Why?The forces that go through a bmx bb are similar to street trials...I just feel that my cranks on my inspired are flexy compared to my bmx,and it feels like the power i apply to the cranks during a strong pedal kick doesn't go all the way to the wheel...They just feel too flexy! ( i have a reset titanium bb and some try all cranks )
  15. I need to buy some new cranks for my inspired, and i was thinking about bmx cranks...I had problems with most of my trial bb's/cranks as they dont last very long.On the other hand though,my cranks on my bmx have taken so much abuse but they are still in mint condition...I noticed that many bmx cranks come with a bb spindle,as the bearings are pressed into the bb shell on bmx frames. Is there a way to fit these ( http://www.empirebmx.com/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6143 )onto my frame? Thanks,Themis. EDIT: I found this: http://www.empirebmx.com/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6977 .This could work, but are the cranks any good for trial after all?
  16. Nice video! Can you tell me the name of that awesome tune please?!
  17. The first guy(black bike) had soooo much flow!
  18. Well, not massive, and it may be in my head, but,i think i have a slightly "better feel" over the lever with my right hand. And its not only about "pulling",its aslo about that millisecond reactions you have(sounds a bit wrong) when you do gaps to fronts, braking at top speeds,etc...
  19. I live in greece where we drive on the right side of the road like the rest of the europe, but i still have my rear brake on my left hand(im right handed).Apart from the motorcyle reason,i think that the front brake has to be more precise and accurate than the rear,as in front wheel moves the finger has to be more "gentle" rather than locking the brakes...Also when you travel/turning in high speed, you need to have the most "feel" you can get on the front wheel rather than the back....
  20. helmet cam = no good for trials.I couldnt even watch half the vid!Looked like a stop motion clip or something...
  21. The forks are the inspired element ones,so no threaded headtube I'll grind down some starnuts and see what happens...
  22. Thank you all for your fast replys...I'll try fitting a 1 inch starnut,as every time i order from uk the currency is killing me!Thanks again for your replys...
  23. Hey fellow bikers, I recently bought a pair of inspired element forks and i noticed that the headtube inner diameter is way smaller than my old forks(onza zoot)So i went to my lbs and showed them the forks.I was stunned when they told me that i cant find a starnut that small anywere in the greek bike market. There are no forks with such a small headtube hole diameter...What can i do?Can anyone tell me the size of the starnut required for this fork? Can i open the diameter so it can fit bigger starnuts?Or it will compromise the strenght of the forks?
