  2. looks real nice, wish i could read what they were saying
  3. Children of bodom: Silent night bodom night
  4. What sort of banks? sand banks? HSBC,BANK OF SCOTLAND? or am i missing something here?
  5. The best way to learn is to get out and have a play!! I watch trials vids to give me idea`s but the moves only come from trying time and time again, or better still try and ride with people that are better than you and watch them. There are always ledges around, a curb, pallet or something like that, if not you must live in a very flat world Go ride!!
  6. There must be some place worth telling us about!? What if i said there would be krispy kreme doughnuts involved as a thankyou? THIS HAS TO WORK!!
  7. What makes your home town good for trials? I have all this week off and want to ride some place different from my home town (Newbury Berkshire) Some of the best bits of Newbury are mainly down to the fact there is so little distance between spots, walls, banks and the back of some shops where pallets are left. After years of riding i want a change!! So tell me what makes your home town the place to ride! where it is and can we come ride with you? to see all the best spots!!
  8. The best thing to do is look on tarty bikes, look what one looks like the one you own!! I think most hope parts can be mixed together. Failing that let us know what year the break is.. most hope levers have the date on them. or post a picture
  9. I run halo 24" they are dent magnets as you say, but if you bend or hammer back into place it works a treat. the other option is the rhyno lites i had these as a 26" and were the best rims ever but not very wide!! If you find something better let us know.
  10. and this is my baby.. classic steel frame and seat is still the correct way.
  11. Brill thankyou very much. It will be a great help.. What could you ever swap a leeson for that is anywhere near as good??
  12. I looked at that,I already have the uprated axel! It came with the fun bolts as standard.I think what i need is the thred size like the fun bolt but hollow and to have a tread inside to make it 10mm.. my only other option is to try and get a long rod that is 12mm thick and 145mm lenght and put it right through the hub and use my tap and dye to bring just the ends down to 10mm. eg 135mm threaded to 12mm and 5mm either end cut to 10mm so it will slot into my frame. theN good old nut and bolt finish. Does that make any sense?? the link below will show pics of the 360 dropout.. http://www.leesonbikes.co.uk/609.html Cool do you have any pictures to help me understand a little more??
  13. Something you need!! If not save it untill you break something..little boring really but why replace what aint broken.Unless you wanna buy me a new rim!! (24" 32 hole please )
  14. hi guys, i have a chris king single speed hub i want to convert the bolt through axel size from the 12mm down to 10mm is there any way i can do this?? reason is i have a leeson 24" with the 360 drop outs and the bolts are made to fit 10mm, my hope pro 2 trials 48 engagement fits as its a 10mm. but as i have a king i wanna use this!! any idea`s please let me know thanks chris
  15. Wow so many replys, from the answers given above i think i have a good helmet now. as its winter it will keep me warm it looks ok maybe the fitting is a little strange but it still does the job.I have looked at so many helmets over the last few weeks its amazing on the style`s and the cost over the range. I think im going to stick with what i have and maybe add some stickers When summer comes back to dull wet england i might try the Fox Flux looks cool thanks for all your replys 661 dirt piss pot is the way forward!!!
  16. HI guys am looking for some ideas on helmets. I use a 661 bmx style helmet at the moment but notice most people now use an XC style helmet. Is there any reason to why people opt for the Xc style? is it a fashion or are they stronger? thanks chris
  17. lol that would be strange ^^ but you never know im half asleep
  18. Can you see the pistons moving?? maybe you have a leak? damaged seals from the crappy oil in the water? new pads, new rotor and a big long hill to roll down with the break half on, its bed in time they say about 20 hours to get really bed in.
  19. Do you mean the two little bolts on top of the reservoir?? If so i dont think they are allen key bolts they use the star looking key. not sure on the name. if you get a hammer and tap the star key in the bolt, it will sink into the bolt enough to undo it
  20. If it was on a dirt jump bike running disc it would work perfect!! shame i dont want it for that
  21. my gyro has arrived its not going to work!!! some reasons.... 1.I'm running a hs33 on the rear the gyro will only work with dot 4 oil 2.It looks a mess on my bike its so chunky and looks so out of place. 3.I have wide bars and trying to spin with wide bars dont work. 4.I bled it using magura blood and it ran fine for about 20 mins, after that power on the rear brake failed 5.I give up its now off and back in the box. FOR SALE ONE HYDR GYRO!!! I still want bar spins but will use a longer braided hose,to all of you who advised this before you were right and im sorry i did not take your advise! :$ Now my advice is do not buy a hydro gyro unless they make them better looking and last longer than 20 mins.
  22. Good lad 24" is the way forward!!! looks brill.. what rims are they??
  23. They dont look to bad,im not sure on the blade having the curve, whats the quality on the build like? Do they line up all ok as from my findings and own experience most forks seem to be very pooly made.?! my ashton forks were made with one blade twisted so trying to run disc was a pain in the behind so many people have told me to stay away from the echo urbans for that very reason they either break or are made pooley Where did you get them? i cant seem to find any pics I like strong, heavy is ok if they last and if danny mac uses them they must be good
