  1. I mentioned that i currently do not have a tool. Could you please help me decide?
  2. Do the try-all bb and echo bb need the same bb tool? And can you reconmend any? Ordering the try-all bundle tonight (early xmas pressie) and havnt got any way to fit it myself atm. Thanks in advance.
  3. You obviously have some form of tensioner already?
  4. From what i've seen around i'd say 350-500? Don't take my word for it though. Also, doesn't this count as advertising / selling? You said how much you could get for it which suggests you're looking for buyers which is against the rules when in the pre-members section
  5. French website translated Spanish website translated
  6. They look good enough, if you're happy with the geo then it seems good? I don't know how the steerer join to the forks would hold up under trials preasure but as its proper carbon it should be fine.
  7. Modulation is how freely you can roll with the brake on. Hold is keeping the wheel locked (better hold = more power is needed to shift it once locked) and 'the biting point' is the point that your brake REALLY kicks in. Rim brakes tend to have little to none effective modulation but amazing bite and hold wheras disks have amazing modulation and, depending on the capiler + rotor combo it can also have amazing bite and hold. I'm currently using a Magura Marta caliper + lever and magura rotor but i've heard many good things about the Magura louise and also the hope mono.

    Disk Brake

Maybe you have too many? Which piston is rubbing the disk?
  9. Yeah I know, thanks for feeling the need to point it out though, makes it seem like you really care
  10. Jack is Borat and trials......
  11. Jack posted in this thread, Allen said about he was running smooths and i said about him running a maggy and having DISK FORKS WANTED in his sig despite not wanting to run disks
  12. *Sigh* I was talking to Jack about his sig, told me he hates disks and went back to maggy even if it meant using standard onza forks..... Clearer now? xD
  13. *Why would he need disk forks. Better?
  14. xD tomorrow should be safe Convincing my dad now to get the Lgm's and the try-all crank/bb bundle for (early)christmas presents. Allen thought you was running smooth and I thought you didn't want to run a disk? Why would you need forks?
  15. I'll have a look into the Heatsinks, even though these pads are for chrismas i'd rather have them within the next 3-4 weeks and have heard that although steve is a good salesman and has good quality products he is also very slow to reply / ship said products. I probs will sand my sidewalls down sooner or later, I would grind but I don't want to have to maintain the grind and eventually replace the rim unless I have to. Click on the green refills and then follow a link to them I'll email adam about this error.
  16. Thanks allen, i'm not grinding the rim but neither am I running it on a smooth rim. I need a brake that will be beast on a dead/worn grind, why do you mention the LGM's but not the CRM's which are specified to be used on a worn grind? Ben, just had a look and seen that they're listen as discontinued. No idea why they're still on tarty though :/
  17. Heya, Onza Citrus on a dead grind are no good in the wet and only somtimes good in the dry (depends if there's an invisible layer of dust or somthing else on the rim) so i'm looking for some decent pads. I was told that the LGM's were amazing but acording to Tarty they're better for ground rims wheras the CRM's are advertised for smooth, light grind or dead grind. What do you guys think about the pads? Or are there any other pads decent on a dead grind? NOT going to grind my rim so don't even sugest it
  18. Ah ok, thanks for the support guys. Turns out i'm aparently riding reading on sunday so i'll practice over the weekend
  19. I've voted, i've never ridden a 24" but to be honest I would love to as, from the videos, they look like such whippy little bikes that are easy to manuver. The hub sounds like an amazing idea, running a king bmx hub atm and it feels amazing, hard to immagine what your hub would be like The chain idea sounds..... Interesting. If it could work it seems amazing but from what I can think (which atm isn't much ) it would compromise too much strength. It's always nice to see a new company and I really hope you're able establish yourself a strong customer base
  20. So after a 2-3 week break due to a burst cross over I finally fix it and.... I feel different; I can do NOTHING on the rear wheel, infact I cant hardly get there - even doing the endo to rear wheel trick I find it hard to maintain it and even fail to controll the endo aswell. I can no longer do 180 endo pivots to 180 hop out but.... On the plus side I can wheelie for ALOT longer and can jump onto higher obsticles when resting my front wheel on them. Whats up? It might be due to over tiredness? Didn't think it would really affect it that much, no chance of early nights as its 10:30 now and I have stuff to do plus parties on the weekend. I will try get more sleep next week but would still like some feedback from you guys. Thanks~
  21. I ride crowthorne atm, as an amature i'm not able to do much but for more advanced riders im sure that there will be more to do. It's situated in between; Wokingham, Sandhurst and Bracknell which are all great riding spots and are only a 10 minute bus / 25-30 minute ride away. If you're in crowthorne then give me a shout Could use someone that knows what they're doing to ride with.
  22. I managed to get validated in about 2-3 hours after signing up because I asked questions with proper explanations, posted opinions and overall just acted sensibly. From what i've seen in your posts so far I'm not going to submit a vote.
  23. Found out that the crank arm taper was too small, will tarty cover this? Messed up a bleed earlier and let some air into the system will re-bleed tomorrow. Thanks for all the help so far guys Bolt still cones undone but not as often.
  24. When I said that I bled the brake that also means topping up the resivoir, thanks anyway. Gunna try spacers on the crank arm bolt. Still need a solution to the spongy lever.
