  1. I swear someone else was using LKB in their sig late 2009, coincidence or this already your 2nd acc?
  2. Citroen clutch fluid is the best for money. £9-11 for 1l of the stuff from halfords. Make sure it says MINERAL oil on it, if you're unsure ask someone in store.
  3. Hehe wasnt it me that told you about that?
  4. Safe chinners, i'm in, birthday on weds so you best be bringing me somthing
  5. I always bleed from the caliper up. I've got a perfect bleed on my marta and you know it When I eventually head down newbury i'll do your hope for you yeah?
  6. You can get HS33's for £20 posted off here some times so no. I'd say yes about the cranks though, had a set of Monty TI cranks and they felt nice on my mod. Wouldnt touch them on a stock though because they only come as 158mm
  7. Well it's all down to who ever votes you back in and to be honest you're not getting my vote.
  8. Mikey-uk

    Close.

Don't swap for the one in the fs section its absolutly f**ked xD
  9. Yeah.... With the gear ratio theres pretty much no way you can go for a casual ride. You'd be too slow and get tired too fast. The gear ratio on trials bikes is designed for quick acceleration not speed.
  10. Cant believe I had to go to college today -.- Was f**king long aswell.
  11. How is this trials related? Theres an off topic section for when you're validated.
  12. to be honest they're steel frames so not really worth it. They're heavy, stiffer than alluminium which is worse for trials as frames need flex in order to not snap clean in half etc. If marino did allu frames i'd be all over one but it isnt worth it for a steel frame.
  13. Well you must be shit at bleeding then 'cos the 50ml tub of it bled my rear hs33 twice and my front marta disk once.
  14. At least you had the option to sit down, my tgs frame doesnt have a seat.
  15. Or that I havnt bothered to get mine ground again 'cos... Actually I have no reason. Probs get it done soon
  16. Rear brake is good then, leave it. Front brake... You using v brake? If its a front maggy then they're plasmatic crm's (the pads i use on rear). Just use a little bit of tar on the front or (I know you said you didnt like it but..) Go disk.
  17. What was said about the washers btw, I have washers under the bolts (on the outside of the mount so all it sits between the bolt head and the frame.) Not sure how that helps but its what i've got
  18. I currently run tar but its lethal when wet. The good thing with tar in the dry is that no matter how shit your pads are tar will always grab them (unless ofc wet) Recap: Wet weather run a medium / harsh grind with some decent pads in CNC backings. Dry weather run tar with what ever crappy pads you can find but make sure to have spare tar with you as I found it wears off after about 2-3 hours of non stop riding (You don't really use much tar to be honest, I've had the same ping pong sized block for about 2 months now)
  19. I was thinking of doing this as I prefer the feel of ffw compared to rear king but I side hop to the left and as atm i've only just learnt side hops I still somtimes fail things knee height. I've landed on the chainsidehop stays a few times and don't want to mash the disk.
  20. Hmm this all seems like too much hassle to be honest, I think i'll just stick rear maggy.
  21. I saw this in reading yesterday, to be honest its a really good job! Bike rides nice but i'd still prefer it with high rise instead of those 'low rise' things you've got now Still.... You're 13 and much better than me so well done xD
  22. Because... If you're the guy that used to have that family guy style portrait then you're not funny, you're very annoying though and I was supprised to see you validated.
  23. I've never seen the point in an amazing headset so I got mine from local bike shop. Each cup was £2.50 fitted.
  24. I use tar on a dead grind, that is... So dead that its smooth with little useless grooves in it. to be honest it is amazing with tar and as winter is coming to a close i'll leave it dead for a while. This is with plaz yellows, grinds about 4 months old
