  1. 1. What shoes do you wear when riding? Globe Vices 2. How long would you say they last? Had them a year, still no rips 3. Whats the ankle support like/is there any? None 4. Soles: grippy or not that grippy? Grippy But my riding style is more street than trials but they are just shoes.
  2. The wheels not going anywhere and the chain will stop it coming outright anyway. Found these http://www.evanscycles.com/products/primo/andys-nuts-axle-converters-ec008959 Any good?
  3. Use them, love them. I use the yellows on my street and they hit the brick soooooo good. Nice sound as well!
  4. At the moment, im having to run a rear 10mm axle in a 14mm dropout. I've got some chaintugs running on it as well until i find some 10mm > 14mm conversion bolts. Anyone think i'll have/cause problems in the short term? Week or so until i get the conversion bolts.
  5. Basically, im riding round on a commencal max max frame atm because i love it but i was wondering if they Evo2 set would fit my v-brake stanchions. Main concern is that my frame is basically a DJ frame and my wheels are no where near chunky for my maggies to work on my Onza frame and these same wheels are on my commencal. Any thoughts/have measurements anyone?
  6. +1 Since when did trials riders become so arsey facey about what people can ride? I ride park almost every week as well as riding trials because its fun. Also, i use my park bike for my trials riding because its fun. (Note : Apologies to the fun police/retards who will hate park riding being mentioned in the same sentence as trials.) LOL i just dont see how you can come onto a post a slate a guy for having fun on his bike? Trials is what you make it like someone said and don't get mad at the people who judge it/you otherwise, just pity their close-mindedness. So we come back to the old mantra of "If you got nothing nice to say, then fu*k off!" Great pics though mate!
  7. I know most people on here <3 their bike, and yes they do cost a fair bit but they are meant to get knocked around. How you going to get better if you dont put your all into it? You can always get a new frame....
  8. But what about my wheel moving? It went from being straight - | | - - | | - to being wonky - \ \ - - \ \- Also, the side that had moved was the drive side.
  9. It's so damn annoying though. As soon as im rebounding off a stall it just seems to clunk and i fear for my face
  10. Yep. It's a new KHE. Also put on a new rear sprocket. Cheers
  11. Might do. Like i said, knackered arm and dodgy bike makes me a dull boy!
  12. Had a little problem on a test ride of my new (old but much modified rig). I have horizontal drop-outs and running SS without tensioner. What seemed to happen is when i backpedal (i think its just when i backpedal) the chain partially comes off the rear sprocket and clunks back down. I've aligned the wheels and im hoping that it will be sorted. Will chain tugs be an end to this do you think? Cheers
  13. I might be around Sefton / Huyton way sometime soon. Also any dates for Manchester ride? Dont know whether im working/not working/busy? Whats the riding like near Barrow GU? My parents have a house in Frizington (20 minutes from Whitehaven) but never bothered to take my bike up because it's a little chavvy up that way.
  14. Breaking from the trend, i do prefer flats. Having said that though, my rig is geared up for the street so i need that extra responsiveness i guess id call it.
  15. That listing looks dodgy anyway. Stupid amount of bikes being stolen atm!! Hope you get them back
  16. yeah it will need a re-thread. i would star nut it but its too narrow to fit one in. where would i go for re-thread?
  17. Just a quick post to see if anyone has any advice on my problem. Got some Onza Smart Guys but the steerer tube is way to long so needs to be cut down. But the internal thread for the headset doesnt go down far enough. My Hope Hed Doctors are too fat to fit in so i'm at a bit of a loss Thanks
  18. Ive just got the Neon BB from tarty's (think its £44.00). Was an absolute ball-ache to get into my old hitman but works a treat!
  19. Middleburns all the way Good points Durable, strong, good weight. Basically anything good you can think about cranks you can put here Bad points May side on the expensive side if your on a tight budget but its more than worth it. Also you can get bargains on here. No contention really. Just go get some 'burns!!! I'd go for echo purely on the fact that my mate rode Echo and had good appraisals about their durability...
  20. I've jst bought a T-Rex frame, how do they ride? Cheers, Dany
  21. Nah, the good thing is im keeping my commencal (i trust it like a mother) so ill still be riding street on my stock commy. It's just that its limited in terms of trialsy things (which i like) so whether i get a mod or stock, im still riding my commy. Hence the mod or stock question. I crave the trialsy things that a streety bike cant solve. I'll still be riding street (primarily even) but i intend to fill out some hours with some static moves as well (and it looks niiiiiiiiiiice)
