  1. New video filmed at cheese wring and cligga on the new echo! enjoy.
  2. Urbans didn't make much difference when i got them on my comp so, i don't think forks are gunna help much. the only difference between my bike at shipley any yours is I've always run 175mm cranks. if your's are bent maybe borrow some 175s to try em out then buy some. failing that, buy an echo lite 2011!
  3. my echo lite forks where creaking for ages, then they cracked just above the disc mount, new forks solved this could be your headset, forks, brake leave, brake.
  4. I'm 5 ft 10 the reach on my echo is only like 5mm different than my comp, which is what makes the bike feel long/short. I haven't personally had a because but, according to the person i always ride with (alex dark) because have a similar build quality to a bionic. and from my experience with a bionic frame i wouldn't touch one with a barge pole. and Thanks dude! Higher BB is not necessarily better, look a CLS one of the best TGS riders ever rides low BB, personal preference.
  5. cheers guys, love it at the moment rides awesome too. Much better than my onza, extra lengths seems to have helped too.
  6. I'd go with echo 2011 just bought one my self seems awesome in the last 2 days. I used to ride 1000 wb 1020 seems to fit me better. first echo is old,"onza" is terrible imo,"Because" are just generally badly made! nothing wrong with maggies especially if you side hop to the left, (nothing wrong with a good disc either).
  7. I bought a new frame so I went for a play in between the rain showers, I like it. I Will be getting out of the garden and making a proper video this weekend providing it stops raining! cheers now!
  8. well I bought a new frame and forks!! so I no longer have a ghetto bike, it's now looking pretty posh!
  9. Looks cool, search bar won't find anything though!
  10. That was awesome mate! I like how scary it all was, need to get some group rides in soon though! been to pentewan thursday and sunday evening, love that place. I forget how much of a monster you are. that gap up to front off the pallet was massive!
  11. haha, nice way of scaring him! Dude, that diamond disc will be fine, infact they're the best discs really. I use one (with cutouts) you can get diamond tile cutters without the cut outs, but they're more blunt. And grinding really isn't hard, just need practice! only grind in one direction (don't go over your grind backwards) take your time and be gentle. use a shallow angle too!
  12. I have run the following... heatsink cousts in metal rockman blues in metal heatsink yellows in metal TNN baleay in metal "real" cousts in plastic all over at least a month, until the pad ran out or w/e and I wouldn't rave about any of them. all been run on grinds. I don't know whether its harsh, deep, dead or w/e I just grind my rim. all run on an echo tr rim....except the last like months on onza pro diamond with the cousts. Heatsink cousts I was terrible at riding when i had them and i can't remember how good they were, from what i posted in the pad bit they were amazing. but i wasn't a very good rider.... Blues were good when new but they got steadily worse after like 2 months needed new pads...yellows were brilliant, but i went through 2 pairs in about 2 or 3 months....Baleays were out and out rubbish, i think they were good for the first ten minutes...and coust are amazing when the grind is less than a week or 2 old. at the moment after a month or 2 my "real" cousts feel like a disk, with no bite, holds not to bad though.
  13. depends on which lever, first remove the blae, bleed screw and pipe etc, attempt to pull the piston out with pliers (gently) if that doesn't work; for 04 leavers, you can push it out with a small allen key through the bleed hole/pipe hole. 05 onwards, leave the bleeed screw in and attach some magura pipe to your foot pump and blow the piston out. if that doesn't work i'm not sure. p.s i'm no expert, i have only done this with 04 maggies, but with 05 maggies that's what i've beeen told
  14. Sounds like your experiencing something called life. Never expect anything to work, anything to go as planned and you won't be disappointed, bikes always brake. I have the same issue for example, I buy front wheel, lovely front wheel. pop it on, ride, frame cracks yey...so I got it welded, sorted! etc. Your Magura sounds like it needs lubing up, take your brake off, push the piston on the slave as far out as possible, shove some grease on it then pull the lever a few times. if this doesn't work the piston in the lever, may have swollen. (This is unlikely as you've only had it water bled for a week.) you'll have to get the piston out of the lever, take the O-ring off, sand the piston down (making a smaller diameter) put the o-ring back on, and put the piston back in, then re-bleed.
  15. that's not fair I aint no basher! haha, don't by used frames from Liam N! the forks were years old! Edit: so was the 04 magura
  16. I cracked my second onza comp, so I got it welded up good and propa! looks better I think, new bars, wheel set (used) and cracked forks, which I got welded, which cracked. I'll take some better pics when it stops raining. notice the awesomely bodged 04 magura lever that's still going strong after a year of bodgness. I did have a bionic but it died after 20 mins of riding... I rode that for a bit and it started to crack, so I got that welded to. the wheel base started off at 1000mm and it's now 1985mm (ish) feels pretty solid though. Cheers now.
  17. I'd definately go for a Blackburn pump.....for example......http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=37213 I don't have that one, i have a cheaper one, but they're all pretty good and should last you a while
  18. Well that's it sorted I was right, as usual! cheers guys. hahahahaha Dan you loose
  19. It's a shame, looked better before but, you have to try these things.
  20. I think you might be right, with 25fps, slow motion is pretty blurry. I'm just going by what the video file was and was rendered as according to Sony Vegas thanks!
  21. Hi guys! I've got a Panasonic FZ100, I know it records in AVCHD, and I know AVCHD compresses the frame rate somehow. I'm filming in 1080p 50i So am I actually filming in 50 FPS or 25 FPS? Thanks all!
  22. Well, I hopped in the garden, bent my booster, saw a rabbit and shuved some old clips at the end cheers
