  2. People use weird concoctions of washing up liquid, anti-freeze, different kinds of oil, water, mouthwash, all kinds of shit. Just do the water+anti-freeze bleed, or do it with just water and re-bleed it with something else in winter?
  3. Does it look like this? http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=153946&st=0&p=2158014&fromsearch=1&#entry2158014
  4. Awesome riding Bograt Was gutted it wasn't Mobb Deep when I heard the intro though What the fack?
  5. R2, R2, L1, R2, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up - All weapons Not a bad idea... An even better idea if it's possible, this way you and your nan both have freedom. However if none of these are an option, just follow the general theme of "keep yourself to yourself, avoid eye contact". Pen knives are a bad idea. A very bad idea. Especially with all the current concerns over people carrying knives for protection, it's probably the worst thing you can do. And if you're 6"4', you could beef up a little to make yourself look less of an easy target. I'd leave my bike safe at home, as you're not going to be able to ride it safely when you get there, so there's not much point taking it. EDIT: All formatting went balls up.
  6. Sounds like a plan No problem, glad I could help haha, we were all new and needed guidance at one point, I'm still fairly new at trials myself. You're welcome
  7. What's the program it's telling you to download? I had a virus download itself to my computer, then disguise itself as anti-virus software, but after googling the programme name every hit was saying it was a virus. You could download Avast and do a full system scan, should be able to sort it out for you
  8. The IDE's only a 40 GB, I've got more than that in music alone, so I can't Gonna have a play now, thanks a lot
  9. So if I take the SATA drive out, and not use it again until I put it back in, use the IDE to reinstall W7 on, then when I get bored of it, could I just put the SATA drive back in, and it would work again normally, as if the W7 thing never happened?
  10. Ah balls. Nevermind. If I took my SATA drive out, and put my IDE drive into the C drive, would it work then?
  11. Riiiight, at the moment I've got my main computer using Windows XP. It's installed on a SATA drive in drive C: Now, on my other computer I've recently installed Windows 7, and due to it's awful spec, I can't do much with it, so I want to put the IDE Drive with Windows 7 into my main computer as a secondary HD. Would it just be a straight fit? i.e. I could just connect all the cables and put the IDE drive in the rack, and on start up I would get a boot-menu allowing me to choose from Windows XP or Windows 7?* Or would I need to go into BIOS and add the secondary hard drive to the boot menu? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as well as some tips to change the look of Windows 7, as on my other computer it looks horrible and blocky *Ubuntu's in there too, but installed via Wubi, so I've not got much knowledge of it from this side of the pond
  12. I've already got open, and I'm a halfway through my 20 hours in 2 days...
  13. I've looked on Google, but I don't know what I'm actually looking for.
  14. Not to sound like a cheapskate, well I am but still, could someone with a premium account* on Spotify invite me to it please I don't know what details you'll need, but if anyone's kind enough, feel free to PM me to tell me what you'll need from me to give me an invite. Thanks in advance, Ryan. *Or whatever account that gives me access to the "Free" service rather than the "Open" one
  15. Before I started I'd ridden BMX pretty much all my life, but I went for a stock as I would be using it for some long distance as well as trials, and I think mods look pretty poxy, but the best thing you can do is find some local riders on here and meet up, (available in the "Rides and Locations" sub-forum when you get validated) and ask them to have a quick go to get a feel for each bike. Also, if I were you I'd definitely get a bike from the For Sale section in Full Members instead of brand new, as you'll get so much more bike for your money, whatever you want to ride, eBay's also pretty handy. Going second hand also means when you bash something (which you will do) it won't matter as much, and you won't get too worried over it. Quite a few people start out on normal mountain bikes, and progress to trials-specific bikes as soon as they've got the basics down, and want to step it up a notch, so that's a route you could take as well. You can take a look on here too: ]http://www.trials-fo...hoosing_a_bike it's not super in-depth, but it's a start and something to get you thinking. And you can have a validation vote from me to get you on your way
  16. How tall are you? What bikes have you previously ridden? What bikes do you feel the most comfortable on? Which bikes do you like the look of the most? There's countless other topics on this as well if you take a look via the search function, you could also look at videos of each style of riding and try to see which you'd prefer and gain an insight into which you'd want to move into.

  18. Sorry if it's already been done and failed, but there's been loads of "Derp, iz dis a good place 2 buy frm?" topics popping up recently, so if people could post up experiences of using specific shops and provide a quick review of their service, to prevent a new topic being made, that'd be great I might integrate a topic poll at a later date if this topic takes off and doesn't get locked for already being tried and tested. I don't really know whether to mention Trials-UK in this, as I've seen a lot of people get their order, and a lot of people either not get the right stuff, or get nothing at all, if anyone knows what's going down in T-UK town, post your views Ryan Sites so far: Heatsink Bikes Selectbikes Rock'n'Roll Bikes Tartybikes - obvs Trials-Man - contact Ben direct Trials-UK - hm.
  19. Was watching some hangover TV with some friends this morning, and this program called "Skillicious" came on CITV, I was pretty psyched when I saw trails trials riders hopping around There may be some clips you can watch, or it may be on demand or something, but you can read about it here: http://www.itv.com/kids/skillicious/ I also print screened it if they change the website before anyone has a chance to look: But yay, publicity
