The nicest one
By that I'm guessing you mean the one I bought from you
The stem is a Trialtech Sport Forged High Rise 130*25
-
Wow it looks as good as new!
What size stem is that out of interest?
Which bike?
-
how did you find the other one in such good condition?
The one with blue stickers? It was advertised on here. It is in worse condition than the one I got from Ares (it has quite a few scratches and the lacquer Has gone whteish and funny)
-
My '06 Pitbull
And here's the other one so far
-
I happened to stumble upon a video of what i was planning on doing for the speed control, that seems perfectly good enough until i can afford an ESC (unless anybody knows of any good schematics so i can build one myself?)
Could you not just use a mechanical one if you are already using a servo to control the throttle?
-
But what I don't understand is if the HS11 and the HS33 are exactly the same except for the hose covers, what is the point in making two?
Because people will still buy the HS33 because it says HS33 on the box. They are the same, hence the prices aren't sooo far apart
-
To change the blade there is a pin which can be tapped out using a small drift and a hammer, pop in the new blade and push the pin back in
-
Whats the difference between Hs11 and Hs33?
In the 2011s it's that cover. That is all.
From Tarty
'-Brand new for 2011, Magura have completely overhauled their HS11 brake, bringing it in line with the new HS33 in terms of functionality.'
It is the same brake other than the cover and the hose cover.

Not liking my Echo brakes any more. Only had them a few months, but prefered my Magura 05's so much more.
Bidding on some 05 Magys at the moment, if I don't win them then I will end up getting the 2011 ones.
Just wondering what they are like?
Any common problems with them? - Can you change the lever blade if you snap them or do you have to buy a whole lever set?
Saw that you can buy a long lever blade for the 2011 one from TrialProd, but they dont sell them on Tarty?
Link - http://www.trialprod.com/en/532-long-lever-blade-for-2011-hs33.html
Would end up getting the Trial Edition, because I want it in black.
If you want the four finger lever on a black body then what's wrong with the HS11 from Tarty? It is exactly the same brake and if you are hugely bothered you can change the cap with these to make it into a HS33 effectively:

I've been running 2011 HS33's for a year now and I've had no problems with them at all. - I have the 4-finger HS11 on my Pitbull and have just bought another for a new project

How come the spanish shops mostly seem to get parts before we do??
Or is it because tarty's take more time (read: care) in ordering a batch of stuff?
I would guess that it's because Tarty have already bought a large stock of Tech's and need to clear them first?
-
So in response to mark, If the tech trial is being phased out, what's it being replaced with?!.
The Hope Trial Zone
Hope have already stopped supplying the Tech Trial but obviously they are still in stock on tarty If you want a new one, get em bought quick!

I have been working on the Reely P190, one of the front hubs+axle was missing so i made my own brass bush instead of a bearing but it'll do for now and it wont be running drive shafts upfront anyway Hoping to have some fun drifting it about and if thats boring i can always make a new axle thats compatible with driveshafts
I am stuck on the Reely engine, its a 12 size and apparently had a new cyclinder sleeve and piston fitted. Its missing its pull start and glow plug. I can't seem to find any information on the engine so I dont know what the part numbers are, nor can i find out what fuel type i need. Does anybody happen to know a Reely distributor? I have found one in germany called Conrad but they said they could not help. Everybody i have spoken to so far hasn't even heard of Reely...
Are you sure it isn't a Reedy? Which is a part of TeamAssociated
http://www.teamassociated.com/reedy/
A quick Google search showed that no it's not a Reedy. I must remember that Google is my friend
-
Mines scratched to f**k now
do you ride it? XD
and you still got the zoo bag? (:
I do ride it
And I told you the other day I never got the zoo bag that's a pic he sent me
-

This is from when I bought it

Just been added to tartybikes' website. Just wondering how powerful they are, considering that they're only £90...
Does anyone have any experience?
& are these just as good as hope tech discs?
I considered getting these, so I tested the ones we had at work, far too spongy for me. You really can't feel the bite point. The Hope Techs feel much, much better, are way more powerful and you can adjust the bite point

He works at Skyline Cycles trail centre in Wales. I believe he still has some form of trials bike, last I heard he was selling a zoot but he's always chopping and changing
-
Just needs a little more yellow...
-
I am currently trying to sell my trials bike due to injuries which have left me unable to ride :/
Where would the best place be to sell the bike?
In the For Sale or the Buy/Sell sections
-
Push the piston back in, put the pads back in, stick a 2-3mm piece of plastic/cardboard in between, bleed the brake, fit it onto the bike.
The width of the pads + the disc will mean that the piston can not come out of the caliper far enough to pop out

The 130*25 feels great for me the the Trialtech High Rise bars and I really would want to go any higher than that, a few people have commented on how high the front end is.
Feels lovely
