  1. Unfortunately grinding rims is a technique specific to trials bikes, still a sport so small in the cycling world that most bike shops wouldnt entertain the thought of taking a grinder to the braking surface. Obviously there will be one or two shops with a resident trials rider, in my experience they are few and far between.

I work in an LBS and ours has at least 4 people who know how to grind a rim :)

  2. What a weird thing to say...

Very creative riding and considering Euan's been riding less than two years (I think) he's progressing rally fast. Good stuff!

I don't think it's a bad video at all, I enjoyed the fact he was doing streety moves on a mod rather than just the usual TGS, and that drop off the rock

Suppose he's taken Danny Mac's style and gone at it in his own way, why not :)

  3. went to do a bath bleed this evening, pulled lever back and it didn't return to it's normal position. Have bled with syringe but can't get the piston thing in the lever housing to move. Help please. :)

05+ Lever? I had this problem on thursday and i now have a brand spanking 2011 hs11 in front of me so..... :/

  4. Sounds like the piston is pushed into the lever body and isnt coming out very far?

It was this, until i pulled the piston out some, but now you can feel that it is pushing the piston right from the off, however it isnt moving the pads much :/

  5. Hi, I used to have to have my TPA wound right out, so that it would touch the piston in the lever, however this meant that I had no adjustment in my brake and it kept stripping TPA's (N)

Earlier today i tried pulling the piston right out, to no avail  It did however come out enough for the TPA to touch when it was wound in. But now I have the issue that when I pull my lever it comes right into the bar as each piston only moves about 0.5-1mm out :/ Followed proper bleeding procedure with syringes, so it should have no air in the system. Can anyone help? Thanks, Alex

  6. Definatley in the same way, as I didnt remove the slaves when I cleaned everything.

Pads came out, cleaned, and went back in.

Slaves are in exactly the same postion

You say you sanded the pads but adjusted nothing? Try the TPA?
