  1. Yeah, i agree. Rim definitely affects brake performance. Fresh medium grind on try all rim with heatsink yellows. Rubbish bite, pretty bad hold. Fresh medium grind on onza rim, same brake set-up as before and the brake performs amazingly.
  2. Echo Tr Cams That's what I run, and they've been great so far. Have notches in them already so won't slip. Edit: Beaten to it
  3. What cams are they? Maybe they're slipping..

  13. Duncan Shaw told me about it at a clan demo.
  14. I was tempted by one of those clark brakes after reading some of the reviews. Then i read some more of the reviews which put me off. Quote- "These brakes are so bad, I have a rear with 203mm rotor, arrived needing bled which, was fair enough, so bought the kit, bled them fine, were good for about a week, then all hell went down, as your going down the trail the lever manages to screw itself closer to the bars, which is no good at all and distracts you from having fun by having to screw it back out whilst riding I was once cycling to my mates which is about a 10 minute cycle, half way there oil starts pouring out the reservoir so had to ride home brake less, as at the moment I have no front brake, then week later the pad managed to rip itself off the metal that the piston pushes onto, I don't know whether I have happened to get one of a faulty batch or what, but unfortunately I am not impressed, OK they are cheap, but I still expect them to work. so sorry, but 1 star for me, as I have had nothing but bother since I got them." There are loads of good reviews as well though, so you never know.
  15. yum personally would have ditched the graphics, but that's just personal preference. nice though!
