Not concerning my computer so it's a bit difficult to explain and give info... Problem: Every now and then my friends w-lan suddenly disconnects without a clear reason. Which can be terribly annoying for both when you'd like to play online with him. - Up in his room his connection is on 2or 3 bars (out of 5). - With no one else using his internet he gets disconnected after about 30 mins - With his sister and his mom, both on sepperate computers he gets disconnected every 20 minutes. - No one else gets disconnected. - When he used to have a wlan stick he got disconnected every 10 mins because it would get too hot. He's now got somesort of Zyxel card. - I have no ideas what kind of router they have and I've got no idea about it's settings. - I've just got no idea where to start and he doesen't know much about computers.. (+ he doesen't want to spend any money, but he could wish something for xmas) It would be very nice if someone knows the problem and can help us get rid of those disconnects! Edit: Can't be that their bandwidth is fully used, can it? How can we check that? Thx

I've got no idea why, but the problem seems to have solved itself over night! Hope it won't return!

Going to try and connect the pc directly to the router later. I was wondering if you somehow can make origin open in a different browser than in firefox with all the tabs. Up to now I put it into private mode..

So I've finally got bf3 installed on my pc. I can run the singleplayer campaign on ultra without problems. But if I go to the multiplayer it's unplayable due to lags. Between the lags the frames seem ok though. I've tried fiddling with the video settings, even tried turning everything to low, but it makes no difference. It's a little bit better on the smaller maps. I'm slightly confused as the beta actually worked quite well. (Had a few small lags on caspian border, but nothing major) My specs are: Intel Q6600 @ 2.4GHz Asus P5K motherboard 4Gb DDR2 Ram Nvidia 460 GTX and some sort of Hitachi Hdd 7200rpm I thought it may be the processor, but I'm not sure at all.. Any help is appreciated Edit: I forgot that we've also got the Pc tech support thread. So if needed this can be moved!

You didn't really get a pair of tyres?

My wrists only get f**ked up after I fall on them. Not sure what I do wrong. usually can't use them for 2 days afterwards.. They also klick, can feel it, but it doesent hurt. Wrist pains can basicly also be caused by your computer keyboard & mouse..

Temporary internet stuff might be using all that space? It's easy to get +20gb if you hardly ever clean it.. I usually use Glary Utilities to delete things like that.

Could only get the material out of one. The second one broke. Well, i've anyways got some phatpads to try out atm and I hope I'll be fine with those

Funnily enough that video got suggested to me a few days ago by youtube, but I didn't really think that my pads might also want to fall apart like that.

I did find a thread about pads snapping from the beginning of last year, but I didn't really fancy bumping it. Yesterday I noticed that my pads didn't have as much braking force as they used to have. I thought it might have been the colder weather, so I went and bought myself a different pair, and when I took the old ones out, I noticed that the backings of both of them had snapped. Thank god the glue still held everything together, otherwise I might have been seriously hurt. - They were bought somewhere in summer, but not used much at all. - The cracks do reach down untill the where actual pad starts. Didn't really know how to take the pic.^^ I'd have thought rockpads might have made their backings stronger meanwhile (after that other thread being 1.5 years old). Pretty shocking that they didn't as I don't seem to be the only one snapping their backings! So think twice if you would like to buy something like that or not. Just that you know that they are still crap.

Anyone riding regulary in Eastbourne? It's planned that I would come for three weeks with school. So I'd be glad to be able to ride with a few of you guys if they let me take my bike! I'd be around from end of November until beginning of December! Thx!

ok, I'm not at all interested in bose, so there's no need to argue A friend of mine had some and they got terrible after 5 years.. Well, i got this denon DRA-455 from my dad as he doesen't need it anymore with a pair of B&W LM1s. So I now just still would like a sub.. Don't actually know if I can connect them to this receiver directly. Would I need something more? Looks like this (from behind) at the moment: thanks a lot!
