  2. yeah nice video guys. got to say alex your riding is coming on big style!! gap to fronts are awesome, i need to practise them more to get them dialed like you have. top stuff
  3. Well i'll be there thats for sure.
  4. 27 near 28 riding stock. plenty life in the old dog yet
  5. This topic is a total can of worms. every set up is different and work different, For me CNC HSY are the best in wet but probably be crap on another set up. Its trial and error really, find out what works best for you.
  6. Yip cheers dude, i actually need to up date the side by side comparisons. I tried new HSY pads in plastic backings for a week plus the saturday of the british cup and thought they were very good BUT i did change back to cnc HSY on the sat night ready for the british champs on the sunday and honestly there fantastic and alot better than plastic backing, bite is crazy and hold is mega. Not always the case with other compounds though.
  7. great stuff guys thanks!! I'll keep at it adam thats for sure, i'll def try not to lower the front to much as this is possible what am doing wrong some times as it ends up front under and back wheel to high. practise makes perfect so they say lol. thanks again.
  8. cheers dude, thats one thing thats works
  9. Very true sam, am getting more balls every time i go out but it still feels dodgy. managing around 2pallets up to 6 at around 6ft gap but as said i really need to find the correct position, set up as if your going for a normal gap to back wheel or do you start off the opposite way.
  10. Hi peeps how are we all, right i was out tonight and as usual am trying to nail up to fronts and gap to fronts from a static position. I always prepare myself as if am going for a gap with the bike angled slightly with good foot on the outside, it works but i find it tucks under alot so i changed it and tried the other way with good foot to the inside. It feels wierd at first but it really does work better and doesn't tuck under even when the gap gets bigger. any advice on this move and the best way you find the best. cheers garymac
  11. I've only stated that trialtechs are great forks because IMO they are!! 8months getting hammerd and still going this is why i think he should wait! Am not saying the other makes are U.S hence why i have not recommended any other fork because as you have said how can any one give a answer if they don't know first hand, All i have heard is good things about the TT forks and yet to hear or see apair snap. Rockmans could be good but i don't know.
  12. wait and get trialtechs, slightly heavier but seriously strong. great forks
  13. Hi peeps, right i might be up sat if anyone is up for a blast. cheers garymac
  14. It's a difficult one but after using conti der kaiser for so long now i thought that was it i'll stick to it, I put on A try-all lite on rear and try-all sticky up front and all i can say is there mega, really impressed with the grip, liteness, bounce and stability. will be using them from now on!!!
  15. Yip he sure does, He's coming on quite alot aswell. he's going to be doing the rest of the rounds too The over all win is there to be won by any 3 of you, lewis on 33 i think, so jambo or andrew on 27 could battle it out for top spot. Ross if there aint a yellow route we're in trouble as jamie bew and alec ray will be at next 2 rounds, (god dam) haha.
  16. Yeah kev thats cool, i really want to go but i can't afford it and its my other halfs birthday so i better spend at least one day with her . As for the next round i hope theres yellow flags, the likes of jamie bew, alec ray and hopfully jack carthy are to good for the reds. Hope to be up in the yellows next year, thats the aim!!
  17. Sorry guys but i'll not make it from bonnie scotland for the weekend, bit gutted as i planned to take the gasgas down for a practise and a mess about aswell. next year for sure!! hope you all have a good weekend. cheers garymac
  18. i tried a rubber queen and thought it was all over the place, maybe should try it harder, i did notice joe seddon, alec rey etc all use them at high level which makes me wonder if they're good at a higher pressure.
  19. Well that was a awesome weekend, really nice meeting all the riders-helpers-familys etc. one of the most enjoyable wkends i've had in a long time. thanks to the organisers for putting the event together and observers. TOP JOB!!!
