  1. well you stated you were looking to spend 1k. If so that will get you a really good comp bike.
  2. Yeah good idea, na i sold aj's last week for a total bargain £350 give away. If you want to get a weapon raise you budget to at least £1300 and tartybike will build you a cracker.
  3. myself and aj will be there kev for a practise before sunday. get directions though please and that would be great if we can stay at yours sat night. really looking forward to this trial. kev (quarry) lol
  4. well if i don't do the world round then yes am sure i can help set another trial up noprobs.

do you need hi tops in comps?? cheers
  6. chris don't mess about and get a 26 custom spec. The echo pure 2011 i have is a weapon of a frame, the geo is spot on for natty bashing and street, super lite, strong, looks good blablabla. have a look at the geo of the echo pure and that will give you a rough idea of the geo you want. don't get a street only bike as there no good for natty bashing at all, bb are to low and frames are to short.
  7. cheers lad, sure was tough but i rised to the challange. made afew silly mistakes plus the friday was my early day which was a mare!!!!!!! all in all a mega week though.
  8. now taking my mate aj so should be afew scots heading down. hope weathers good.
  9. stop poking yer bum then!! hope the trial went well guys, still nursing my hangover from last nights celebrations. time to get afew serious hours of practise in before the trip to the tyke trial this weekend coming.
  10. Thanks adam, was a tough week with the harders sections and HOT weather!! Fair chuffed with the performance as there was a hell of alot of full time world riders, x world riders from all over, plus britains best. much appreciated adam, makes all the hard work worth wile when reading a comment like that, topman cheers.
  11. Nice kieran you have improved afair bit since your last video!!
  12. don't think you would be any good at trials then . could sit and write all day about explaining tips and whats best etc but the best way is to just enjoy it, watch other (good riders) and study there lines, keep doing comps and then you will slowly progress and understand trials better then put it all into practise. practise hard trial easy as they say!!!
  13. ohh yes i should be showing face at this . looking forward to seeing the real guys doing there stuff, entry is in for expert so should be good!!
  14. these so called twigs monster your short stumps
  15. I ross you'll need to try super hard to win lol. least you can have as many go's at the section even if you five it . Kev more care when dates get set next time . Poor show really, just doesn't seem like theres alot of interest in scotland when it comes to comps. I'll be back the next comp, heading down south to mill lee quarry for the tyke trial next weekend.
  16. If you had said at the start you are making it more comp style i think this would have been really simple. 18-14 like i told you last week boyo . for natty bashing your gearing is to high at the moment.
  17. lets hope it stays dry then
  18. mint cheers dude, looks like i'll be making the trip down then with the push iron.
  19. As above guys, planning heading down to this just for a bash and see how things work etc. What likes the venue and is it worth the trip. cheers guys/girls
  20. well what can i say about motorcycle trials and cycle trials, only just started taking the cycle trials thing seriously 6months ago and find its helping my fitness LOTS!!! if riding natty but find street fun but doesn't seem to use large amounts of energy. I would say they both help each other but not massively, balance & confidence yes, also with my comp experiance i can find and suss lines out that other people can't see so this does help. I know alot of guys find it hard going from cycle to motor due to the rear brake down at the right foot and the left lever being the clutch and not a brake, i don't find this much of a proplem though. And thanks guys, nice comments from you's apart from the leg-----end lewis lol, maybe you could teach me athing or two next time lad NAAAAAAAAAT.
  21. thats my entry in for the 2days at fortwilliam, expert route.
