  1. its ok i have just put a 180 hope tech trial on the rear, might change the front to match soon
  2. I'm after disc only forks. Are the new echo sl's the ones on the tarty site?
  3. Bit of a simple thing but is the lever pivot bolt not too tight?
  4. Sorry I did not write it clearly, I want disc forks, I was looking to save weight from my echo lite v/disc fork. Cheers Aj
  5. I'm looking to replace my echo light v/disc forks and was wondering what the light weight options were with good strength, was looking at the echo sl forks but did not know how strong they were. Cheers Aj
  6. I've just got hold of a hope tech trial for the rear with a 180mm disc so hopefully that will give me enough power, as the last setup I was running was rear hs33 with lgm's, how do these two setups compare power, bite and hold wise. Cheers AJ
  7. so how good is a hope in comparison as i've never used a disc on the back and what size if i do
  8. http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/bN4_udGPZLM/
  9. how good are these on a dual disc mod setup?
  10. Cheers for anyone that has helped with this but it is finally fixed, for people that wanted to know it was the freehub, something had bent or been damaged and with the new freehub its running silky smooth. Cheers AJ
  11. solved it with a rohlhoff tensioner, now i have loads of chain wrap as you can see from this to this Cheers for the help people AJ
  12. Yeah mine is kinda like that but I can't do up the drive side at all with out it becoming tight
  13. Well I want to upgarde to the new freehub so now is as good a time as any and it might be that so if this does not fix it then I will send it ti hope, I've rung them about it already and they thought it might be the axle and washer so replaced them as it was a cheap fix, but as for spending loads its onlt the feehub that has cost a lot but I got it cheaper than retail so I don't mind as I wanted the newer needle bearing one as my srockets have also dug in a lot
  14. Still not fixed after a new axle and spacer, the ocsilating has stopped but its still binding in the same spot so I am gonna put a new freehub and end caps on, if that don't fix it then that's almost everything new
  15. This is what I thought it might be but with the freehub ocsilating I am only left to guess that its a small bend in the axle causing in, also the washer between the freehub and hub body has some recesses in it which should not be there so a new one of those is going in too
  16. I'm gonna try a new axle as I thinlk the freehub end has a tiny bend in it, I hope this works or I am stuck for ideas, rang hope and they said it could be the axle has a slight bend so all I can do is try
  17. cheers i did not think of that but not that either, anyone with any other ideas?
  18. I've searched and searched and cannot find the answer, my pro 2 trials hub is binding in certain spots after I tighten up the bolts, it is fine before I do them up, the spacer is between the freehub and hub before someone says it, the freehub aslo has a little bit of oscillation when you turn the axle a bit like you get on a cheap screw on cassette, its all greased and oiled how it should be, what else can it be, I have taken the axle out and rolled it on a flat surface and I can't see that it is bent but that is not to say its not, anyone got any ideas, without spending big bucks please, Cheers AJ
  19. i'm gonna try the tensile tensioner to see it that helps
  20. cheers for the help, hopefully someone will have had the same problem and can shed some light for me AJ
