  3. Hiya guys, a little bit of an opinion needed for my new wheels please. I want a new set of wheels but I am not sure what to go for as I would like them as light as I can get but still strong but would like them to match the bike colour wise. I thought about going all black for a stealthy look but not sure how it will look. I was thinking the Trialtech rims on Echo TR disc hubs. What do people think? Here is the bike with the white rims it has already -
  4. So i have just weighed it on my crappy baggage scales and it comes in at 8kg, so not 100% sure if thats right but the only weight i have got. I am running the echo tr wheels at the minute which weigh almost 1742g together and i'm sure i could get a set that weigh a fair bit less as there is not really anywhere else i can save weight.

  11. I'm looking at getting a new frame to upgrade from my GU-ST 08 dual disc to something lighter and a better geo. I am mainly using this for street, I am 6ft tall and i want it to be dual disc so here are my choices, preferably i want to keep my 180mm disc on the rear. Cheers AJ

The brakes are amazing, and the frame is really strong but you pay for it in weight as its about 2.2kg just for the frame. I am looking at getting a new frame soon but not sure what to go for yet. AJ

i hate using the bash its there just in case for the time being lol, ti halfring is sounding appealing though
  15. lol cheers dude, i will use the chi
  16. sand the pads then go find a big hill and start at the top pouring some water on the brakes as you drag them on the way down
  17. So i can sidehop 41" from two wheels no problems but going higher is a bit harder, I can also hop of the rear wheel at almost the same height. Both of these ways of doing it I hit the pedals to stop the backwards momentum. So am i right in thinking to hop higher i need to hop off of the rear wheel straight up without the pedal and pre-load to launch upwards? Any help would be appreciated as i have always hopped off of two wheels and since i have started riding again everyone seems to do it from the rear wheel. AJ
  18. I will be there with a few others at about 11 at the skatepark as its free parking

Yeah I have thought about that, and think I will do one or the other when I put a new freewheel on at some point and either take the ring off or change it to the Trialtech titanium one and remove the plate.

Cheers for the comments guys, The rear brake is amazing, so much bite and hold, love the fact that the only noise you get is the freewheel. AJ I would change but I love the feel of these rotors, I might experiment with some others soon
