  3. i am running 16-13 on my inspired with the cheap 4jeri l tensioner ( http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/sprung_tensioners/4jeri_tensioner/c48p10179.html ) that just pushing the chain down for the tension but it is skipping, i have the right chain for the sprockets but when i put pressure over two pedal strokes the chain rides up the teeth at the back and then slips back on will the tensile chain tensioner fix this? this one ( http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/sprung_tensioners/tensile_single_speed/c48p10421.html ) cheers AJ
  4. am i right in thinking if i drop my gearing from 20-16 to 16-12 on my 24" it will feel the same, i was thinking of going 16-13 as it feels a tad heavy atm do you think that will be too light?, i am running 170mm cranks
  5. Cheers dude, so you file both top and bottom, I kinda see what to do now. Cheers for the pictures and description. AJ
  6. So am I right in thinking that I have to cut or file the piece off where the red line is, if someone can post a picture up of one that has been cut off or filled away that would be great so I can see what it should look like. Cheers AJ
  7. The hex just seemed to sit ontop of my head and did not feel as comfortable as the flux, which as soon as I put the flux on my head it was love at first site and feel,
  8. Yeah I ordered it earlier £55.99 with free delivery from hargrove cycles
  9. I have just put the trialtech 4 bolt on the back end of my fourplay and it has stiffened it uip really well and now the brake feels much better, so that would be the one I recomend, I am running tnn lgm pads with a 4 finger lever bled on phat phluid and it feels great, not sure what to use on a smooth rim as I always have a grind.
  10. I thought the hex looked bulkier, the flux is a tad heavier but I do prefer it, the hex just did not sit right on my head either, must have a weird shaped head , the terra was just awful feeling, so I think I made a good choice. AJ
  11. So after driving rather far to try on all the helmets I decided on getting the flux as it was most comfortable and looked the nicest, I rang up evans cycles the day before and they said they had every colour in every size in stock , theuy lied they only had the one on display, at least I tried them all on and now know what size I am, will be ordering one in whatever colour I decide now from elsewhwere. Cheers for the opinions and help guys Aj
  12. looks amazing, i really love the colour
  13. well i really like the look of the flux but that is only pics i've seen on the tinterweb, the only shop near me has the met terra in so i can't really try any other as my local halfords never has any in either. so was looking for other peopes views before i venture out to a shop further away to try and buy AJ
  14. I understand that they might all fit different but I was just after peoples opinions as to what most people use and wear and like the look of, Cheers AJ
  15. My choices are between these 3 helmets, fox flux, met terra and giro hex. i am swaying toward the Fox Flux but i thought i would get some other people opinions, money is no object so that does not have to be a factor in this. Cheers AJ
  16. yeah i still have tham floating around in a box of bits
  17. NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! dont do it, get some decent ones from tartybikes with a grind, will benefit you in the long run AJ
  18. yeah i love the way it rides and i'm quite lanky so need a bit more height at the front and this was the easiest way so i just decided to keep it how it is AJ
  19. hey dude, i have middleburns on my bike, what pads you put on the back now?
  20. i love the height with the stem stackers, also ment i did not have to cut the forks down which was a bonus, rides really nice so think i will keep it this way AJ
