I broke my tensioner so i took 2 links out of the chain at first the chain was really tight but it loosend up after a few rides and now its perfect i dont need a tensioner. try it if it doesn't work just put the links back in

oh well it was just an idea i thought it would make the website a little better

I have just had a thought i know it has nothing to do with trials but it would make the website better. Trials-Forum should have a chat like Facebook so you can talk to online members, it would make things a lot easier especially when buying things you could chat rather than pm and wait ages for a reply. anyone think this would be a good idea?

haha! yeah they still sell them not sure weather anyone buys them because they are like a ww1 invention, but i was in halfords a few weeks ago buying a new lid and saw them.

make sure you using just 1 finger on the brake and bring the bars closer to your chest. you'll soon figure out your own way just keep trying and it will come to you.

go to tarty bikes and buy the 2011 magura hs11 rim brake its £60 and comes with olives an evo 2 adaptor(and a foot too much hose ) but its easy to shorten without emptying the fluid i've just bought it its great i cant fault it.

Gloves help but you can also buy lizard skin lever blade covers from halfords for about a £1

i ride a mad phase 1.3 ive just got a 2011 hs33 with evo mounts it works really good

try tightening it up as much as possible. also i might not be the freewheel, bottom brackets some times make noises like that, oil it and tighten it up as mush as you can. hope this helps.

i ride without a tensioner. it cost me £10 for the singlespeed kit and £10 for the chain. go to superstar components there really cheap and have good quality parts.

hi i have always been told to stay away from tar. But if you really think you need it tartybikes have a monty tar spray, it comes in a spray bottle for around a fiver.

i saw that wheel but i didnt know weather it was too cheap for a trials wheel, ive only been riding a few months and dont really know much about wheels.

Hi i was just wondering what i should do, i have v brakes on my bike and truthfully they are terrible they slip as soon as im up on the rear wheel. i need help choosing a brake that wont slip as much should i buy TNN vee pads or should i get the 2011 hs11 with evo adaptors. Or anyother suggestions. i tried having a grind but i polished off after a few rides Thanks.

i ride a stock 26"

i only have a rear grind as i have a front cable disk, i dont do downhill riding i do trials sections and things with pallets and cable drums etc.

what do you meen by 'drag the brakes' i have about 2mm gap each side of the rim between the pads and the rim

i have v brakes but i cant seem to set tem up right i have bought new pads and cables and even got a rim grind but after a few hours of riding the rim was smooth again. if you have ant idea what i can do please share
