I wouldn't just go on how many people post supporting what frame. Look at people who've got valid information to be honest. My mate has a Pitbull and I haven't even seen or ridden a Gu but they look really nice, and from brushing over Tartybike's information they're going to replace the Pitbull's previous top position for sale numbers. Their high bb and strong / light attributes mean they're really reliable and most probably won't crack or snap on you. I know that the Pitbull hasn't snapped much either though, but it's fair heavy. Have a look and compare weights and then just think about which you like the look of best. After that I don't think there's much between them Nick.

Computer Problem - Calling All Computer Whizzes
Dai the Socket replied to nmt_oli's topic in Chit Chat
You can but that would defeat the whole point of Macs being simple, and having everything made by apple, work on their computer systems. Also, I said it had to be pretty and small. Typical PC's running Windows are neither of them. My Mac is about 7 long, on its longest side. Put it that way. And I suspect the OsX Rip will be shockingly bad. -

Yeah but mine's more compact than yours haha. And the guy who's broke his eMac, just, dunno. It's died. I'm only messing anyway. If I could run Os X on a PC which was compact and nice and fast I would I can't, so I dont lol.. -

Buy a Mac Can't go wrong.... -
Take it to a Mac shop lol.. Failing that. Hit it Then if it doesn't work. Take it back to a Mac shop. The eMac hasn't been out that long has it? It should still be in the warrenty period of 3 years I think Nick

Why Doom? Isn't that a game? I've got a Nano. If I could just run normal Videos on it like biking ones i might do it. But the screen's too small on Video iPods let alone on my Nano..

Have A Look At My New Site Still Working
Dai the Socket replied to new_to_trials's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
oh oh its freewebs time yeyyyyyy. Roll on simon if he can be arsed. Im gna get a copy and paste of the major rippage he did ages ago. In a nice way obviously but in summary. dont post freewebs sites. they suck. More than you can ever imagine. I have more respect for someone who makes a shitty 1 page site with bright yellow background and orange text, with the links not working, 'cos they've atleast tried rather than just made a generator do it. And no that's not entirely correct. I think Trials-Shack cost easily over £100 a month to run but it hosted just about all trials videos and had an exceptional download rate. For a normal website, just to host pages (.htm .php .html) etc then it'll only cost you around £15 a year My hosting for 2plus1 clothing, Wytrials, Heatsinkbikes (as a temp) and a couple of other websites are all on it and I don't go over my space. Recently i've had problems with the bandwidth but that's only due to the high volume of people visiting the new 2plus1 clothing website. So no, you don't need to spend loads on a server -

Thats how the cookie crumbles. Nah. I was only saying that bird with the monty up there ^^^ is damn fine. And better looking than the trials queens as far as i can remember Yeh but c'mon, that girls probably a model, what do you expect.
-
Yeah but we're talking about an Echo Team, Trials Bike. Not a bmx. I know it's a Bmx hub but If he was running Snail Cams, which I was saying, then They'd be on the inside like usual. I'm running my Fresh Products ones on't inside and they're perfect.

I suspect that girl, is hotter than all the Trials-Queens.

Yeah. Aren't you meant to run them on the inside of the fram? Not the outside...

How To Stop Hand Gettin Sore While Riding
Dai the Socket replied to Callum Trialsin's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Without gloves my hands hurt. With gloves, my hands hurt. I ride a fair bit so my hands got hard, they still hurt. I ain't on to a winner. Can you see the trend? Some people's just hurt and some dont. Try get different grips or something? Nick -
My profile washers were too big for my python's dropout but i just put them against it, scrateched where they needed to be cut down to, then got my grinder out and made them bodged like that. Its the easiest way really. I wouldnt run raw bolts onto your frame cos thatll f**k it bigtime. Won't any thin snail cams fit in?Or does the skrew which the snail cams would push against, go all the way through your stay so you can put it into the outsides of the frame, then put your cams on the outside? Meaning its not pushing your frame out? Nick..

What Ratio's Do You Ride With ?
Dai the Socket replied to Infurnass's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Ive got a Python 05, and run 18:13 with 158mm Monty Cranks. Due to the bike 'stays being long and the geo, with short cranks, it seemed too hard to stick with 18:12 but im planning on getting some nice tensiles or something, then changing back to 12t on the rear, maximum distance per kick -
The scrolling and navigation is shit on those Zen's I find. My mate's got one of the new video ones and it seems ace. The screen's a tad small, i'd prefer to watch a video on a PSP or such, and the battery life for 4 hours on a video is pretty poor. They're really slim, look nice, and have been well designed rather than copied by shitty other brands. The batteries are replaceable by Apple and many resellers do them too. I'd buy one if I had any money or income hehe.
