  1. Okay cool. You mean beside Codonas?
  2. Yeah totally I know, but it's pretty far away too. Might be doing Fort Bill next year though... You been to Aberdeen? I messaged Ross but no reply yet...
  3. Yeah a mate said it was on, but to be honest I'd be terrible in a comp

    Aberdeen

Wasn't sure whether to post here or in member organised rides, but here goes anyway: Next week it's my birthday so I wanted to organise a ride. One of my mates suggested Aberdeen but none of us have gone there before, so I'm wondering if anyone can tell us about how much thee is to ride, where roughly the different spots are, etc. Any helps appreciated
  5. Got a link to this thread from another thread... Tried to access the site on my phone (nokia n8), and some words are chopped off at the side of the screen. Don't know if you've optimised it for phones other than iphones yet?
  6. Riding and music went together well!
  7. Your gearing's pretty fu*ked though!
  8. That was insane! Definitely going to try brakeless on my mod now. Got any tips?
  9. Well most have ads at some point, or at the start will have a company name. Others, without ads usually have a free version, which is like a taster, and a full version (which you pay for).
  10. Most free apps are selling something or offering a service....(dominos, subway etc) But if they are just free, they usually have ads.
  11. Haha! But seriously, apps cost a lot. My dad's learning to do it and it looks so damn complicated!
  12. Hmm, I'll maybe have a think then... Any good brands in particular/any ones to avoid?
  13. It's easier to use a bleed kit, as you don't have to remove the brake.... But if you don't have one then do a bath bleed. (Look in revolvers sig)
  14. I like it, apart from the top-tube
  15. Not sure on budget, although fairly low compared to some of the prices people have said. Possibly £200-£350. It's really a bike that i can use everyday, but that I can also use for downhill trails etc. My mate is selling his Kona Shred for £250, is this a good deal? Cheers
  16. Hi guys, Need a bit of advice... Hoping to get a downhill bike for my birthday, but not got a clue in the slightest on what a good bike is! All I really know is that disk brakes are much better for that kind of riding..... So what are you guys thoughts on dowhill bikes? Cheers

  18. Sound, what happened to your old one?
  19. What frame is the green double disk?
  20. I heard on facebook the Danny McBean memorial ride was coming up, but no-one had posted it. I'm not organising this, just posting it. Not sure exactly where it is yet, but I think the plan is to meet at Iceland, then ride Kessock rocks for a bit then ride the longman. I'll update this when I know more. EDIT: I asked Craig Higgs, he's saying we'll meet at Iceland car park at 12, probably not riding Kessock rocks if it's wet (which it looks like it will be), and just riding the Longman.
  21. So what are the pros of rear magura, compared to rear disk?
