  4. Mine made that kind of noise for a while. You should just have to put a little grease on the threads. (Although I didn't know this, bought a Trialtech one and it seems fine).

  18. It could be possible, but I'd have to get some extra bearing races. The wheel would turn fine, and the cranks were stiff but we sorted that, the wheel and cranks were turning fine, then boom. You said I should get a new spindle, and for the extra £9 a hub is, I think it's worth it. I didn't ask him to do it. He just whipped the spanner out and tightened them. I didn't ask him to do it.   19. Hmm, £20 for a new axle or £29 for the same hub with sealed bearings...
  20. Not sure about the brake, but what kind of crank have you got? Have you made sure the crank bolt is fully tightened?
