  1. Got a new one ready to release just getting a few people testing it for glitches and i'm making this one N00B proof, ill send a M2AF when its up. I've been playing it a bit recently normally a late night thing with battlefield I'll inv to a match next time I'm on it and your online.
  2. I know we have a gaming thread and i've prob already asked everyone. But I think this game deserves it's own thread, it's at least more relevant than COD, Battlefield or Forza 4 that we've had threads for "i think" Basically me and my other half have too much time on our hands, due to not watching television because its a waste of your life. We both create tracks on the game, some are good some are shit. But I'd like to see if anyone on here plays the game, and fancy's testing their skills DZ ZER0 <- last character is a Zero Add me if my friends list aint full, stick your name on here and i'll add you. Alternatively you can search for players through the "GetTracks" menu. If you have an xbox and xbox live but not the game and you ride trials it's sooooo worth a look! I haven't got anyone who rides a bike, to play it and them say it's poo! If you have it and have a time you want people to beat, post it. You have a new level, post GT and track name? Also just quickly add me if you play battlefield i'm admin on a few 24-7 metro servers, and i'm like florence nightingale on the game
  3. A little steep for the bike in my opinion. I mean its good for a beginner. Have a look for parts and build one if your competent at building bikes. I got a megamo as my first trials bike. Old frame but was high end back in its day. Picked up the frame forks bars cranks bb and brake cheap on ebay got some decent wheels & tyres off here, new freewheel and a couple of spares i had knocking about and boom, half decent trials bike with a decent spec on the important parts i.e rear wheel & freewheel & brakepads, + fresh brake bleed. I got it all for about 130-150, then slowly upgraded it. I think most people don't stick at trials because their bike's haven't been set up well enough to do the moves needed? Best way of getting a working trials bike, it cuts out the idiot owned trials bikes. Although this is coming from someone who manged to buy a mod frame with random holes drilled in it... That's my "opinion" anyway
  4. I really struggle to find motivation to go out and ride on my own, but when i do i actually session things and focus solely on what i'm doing, not whos watching me etc. But as a beginner i get stuck at things not quite knowing where to go next with it. When i'm out with people or my other half, i can get that advice on where i'm going wrong. Also its mega helpful to try and follow lines other people take, you learn alot because you have thrown yourself right in to it. Mainly I don't ride alone because i have no1 to talk to and i get bored really quickly
  5. WTF!! Why can't i back wheel hop with brakes, yet brakeless not a problem...? I'm such a weirdo

*shrugs* I don't really know, i don't think my manuals are low, and when i do drop off's i get the bike quite high. To brakeless hop i have to hop into it, then i can continue to hop. Only started doing them today on the flat, had never tried to do it brakeless before and was like wow!

Nothing weird about it. Youve grown used to not having to use brakes. Going back to them means you have to get used to applying and releasing the lever again at the correct times.

  6. Its very close to.. Still tempted to slap a front brake setup on it and try it for a day.
  7. Theres quite a few of us, but were all quite elusive Plus we're not always at the moonrocks with it being super local its been over ridden a little but i still love em.
  8. Will be 2-3 at the earlyest I'll be able to get out, my other half will be working till 4ish and dunno what anyone else is doing if weathers good people show up you coming alone?
  9. Yeah moon rocks are still there, nothing but the main road down the prom will be closed. And thats happening in the evening so wont affect a daytime ride at all. What time you riding have to nip into work in the morning but if weather is good i might be tempted to a moonrock session.
  10. At the moment he's stolen the front wheel off my XC bike, because the wheel he rebuilt for it is non disc. If you know what i'm on about
  11. Just let them go bald, its what i do sorry for shit input..
  12. Ha, It's ride the lights tomorrow eve. The roads are all being closed for people to cycle the light's. Or you here in the daytime?
  13. Cap's bike is a beast of a TGS bike! I have another friend who rides a because 26" trials frame, and its very good. Very much pure trials feels shorter than say my other half's ECHO control (long). I know very little but i thought i'd stick my two penith in.
  14. I tried to tell him not to do it.. Taking them off tomorrow while he's at work anyway.
  15. To be honest we both use all of them quite a bit. The Carrera gets the least use. Yesterday i started the day on molly went home and got merlin and then rode my mod for the evening A bike for every mood
  16. Nah, just one each, and ian had borrowed the echo for this ride. But we do swap and change when out. Unless I'm on the mod.
  17. LOL! i have no clue about that shizzle, the pictures look cleaner than the ones i get on my iphone. And he was stood on the top prom above us sneaking pictures in.
  18. I'm really bored, the weather suck's and i'm recovering from a massive sunday lunch! So i thought i'd show you guys the bike hut.. First up: The Holy Bike ZHI Z?$i dont know or care Trial tech forks, stem, pedals, BB & cranks, Octane Riser bars, FSA Pig headset, echo & trial tech wheels. CBA fitting brakes atm. Ashton Effect 24" middleburn cranks, onza wheels avid sd7 rear front bb7 with a 203 rotor. diamond back forks FSA Pig headset, rail seat LOL! holy roller tyres Great little bike. Marino 26" Street Beast hope rear middleburn cranks zoo forks inspired seat. Tyres and front wheel and brakes have all been stolen off me.. Hence brakeless mod and wheel & tyreless XC bike. this one usually the brakeless one. and has holy roller's. Uninon Street Bikes 24" Molly Maguire. My all round bike, its happy doing most things from park to street & bmx track. halo wheels, shimano vee brake dmr forks, usb cranks, haro pedals, gusset bars & stem, kenda kiniption rear & crazy bob front tyre. ECHO Control 26" (C.U.N.T) Echo hub's, Onza front rim, one off rear donated by cap. Bt raven forks, bb7 front, magura rear, trial tech stem, zoo! bars. Super long bike that slays pure trials. Carrera vulcanator XC 26" I've had this bike for ages now and been slowly upgrading it because the frame rides really nice! fun fatboy bars, super star stem, rock shox forks, sr suntor cranks, v8 pedals, charge spoon seat, xt rear mech, shimano lx 8 spd shifter & lx brake levers. Hayes disc brakes. Usually has hope on mavic wheels, high roller rear and continental race king front. but they have been stolen temporarily... Merlin 26" donkey bike. duel maggie, hope on mavic wheels, onza stem, riser bars, truvativ cranks, wellgo pedals, onza tuff guy forks. Great bike to be fair been riding it alot recently. Cannondale 26" road hog Jims work horse fairly standard parts but for mid skool quality factor its ace As you can guess we have no space left anywhere for more bikes although i recon i could fit maybe 1 or 2 more Also sorry about poor pics in places with poor light could not be bothered moving them about. 7
  19. Cannot be bothered uploading them all to here nor copying all the link's... nice, are you running the frame with the dodgy holes? :)

Unfortunately yes! Never know it might do me some good. I'm being super careful not to bash! So smoother riding and hence no injury :P

a dodgy frame make you ride better :P

  21. He has offered me a refund if i return it to him. I don't think robbie is that much at fault as he didn't do the holes and forgot to mention the hole's as they didn't bother him. I would prob take some of the cash back. But at the end of the day I still need a mod frame till i can afford a Jaf Bike so it'll have to do
  22. £35 hence its not the end of the world. And really i was expecting it to have something wrong with it for that price. Was thinking maggie threads are f**ked not random holes drilled it it.
  23. LOL My was sexy till i snapped it.. Nothing against the headtube bodge sensible place for weight loss if you ask me if done well I'm not 1000% on it and there was never any mention of holes having been drilled in the frame. But for the messing about sending the thing back i'll just ride it for a bit. And see if we can make it 3 snapped frames in less than 3 months go for the world record.
  24. Yeah like i'd have bought it if I had of known and yeah i bought it off robbie woods. It's not actually cracked anywhere around the holes. And i knew something dogey was a foot when i looked at the holes. Hmmmm don't think i feel safe riding that.. Looks like I'm suck on the fekin Merlin still Oh and says you with your cut your own headtube bodge
