  1. I asked bullshit this bike or not because of few(or more) people on this forum who always repeats that THIS stem/bars/%partname% is good for street-trials ONLY THIS and nothing else!111 Like "only Trialtech bars are good for street-trials buy only Trialtech". So I'm CONFUSED.

    You're riding is bullshit.

Feel pissed off ? Good that's probably how the owner of the bike feels.Nobody likes a moaner , think before you post.

  2. I'm needing some new forks for my 24( tgs) I'm after the strongest , longest lasting pair I can find but without being stupidly heavy , I'd like to run hs33 but if I can't then I'll just use trialttech 26"s with an avid.

Heard some bad things about urbans and I don't have a great amount of experience with the other available makes so help would be great.

Edit: will be used with an echo headset

Recycled my old thread , for a while now every time I pull my front brake there's a strange creaking noise for month or so , I'm not too sure what it is as I've stripped the headset and re-greased it , any help would be very appreciated

  3. Blah blah blah...

I just wanted to talk about PARTS. I think trialtech fork, stem, and rims are shitty for street-trials. Also geo of that frame it shitty for street-trials. And the price for this..

No, to talk about geo and parts. There are obvious concepts of what is good/bad for street-trials.

You never mentioned parts at all all you said was the bike is bullshit and Seller wants 800 for it.

Also we've never ridden the bike and neither have you how do you it's so"bullshit" if the spec is so bad and want us to agree with you then I'd recommended you actually post it.

You're still being a dick , if you bike was for sale how'd you feel if I posted a picture saying its shit?

I doubt your bike is the epitome of bicycles so maybe you should drop it....

  4. where did you find a 42a version of a a 224 Maxxis High Roller? Gotta get my hands on one of these!!!

Got it off a chap on eBay , brand new For £35.

For people ofront tyres , I can't recommend the moto digger enough! Grippiest front tyre I've ever used for street!

  5. Maxxis high roller or Kenda blue groove. Great tyres very grippy too. There's a gap in the market now for 24 it's either thin tyres with no grip or heavier dh/mtb tyres with more grip and stability but with added weight.

The high roller isn't that heavy I'm running a 42a version now with a Maxxis dh tube and it's amazing

  6. Right so guys I've stripped a few of the bolts on my echo from a combinatioof me being stupid and a dodgy clamp set up. A couple have no thread and the bolt rattles around inside.

I'm planning on helicoiling it but I don't really know how other than the basic steps, what sort of lengths and things am I needing to know ( other than m5x0.8 ). A link to a supplier would be great too

  7. Im a welder by trade. But now i am a supervisor/ R&D developer for a ballistic armour manufacturer. We develope helmets, ballistic shields, bulletproof/stab vests and other kit for the MOD, LAPD, NYPD, SWAT, nemerous U.K police forces and also the SAS.

Sorry for reviving this thread guys, what company do you work for? I'm quite interested

  8. I'm on holiday right now and I was it he apple store since I'm thinking of getting a mac and went on tf to see what's going on.

There is now a "genius" standing behind me looking at what I'm doing on what he must see as the homosexual equivalent of a phylisofical penthouse forum :)

  9. I'm running a rear 2.5 Maxxis Highroller DH with a Maxxis DH tube and a DMR Moto Digger on the front with a Kenda unboxed , I've had very little problems with either tyre and both are very grippy , rode them in near torrential rain the other week and they never slipped once on some pretty sketchy lines that my tryalls haven't gripped on. I've noticed than on the very edge of the Highroller tyre is bit slippy unless you get a lot of material on but I'm sure a stanley knife would fix that.

I don't really find the weight noticeable but as I used kinetics before them that might be why , puncture resistance seems very good but then I am running a tube that's about 300g grams more than a standard tube.

  10. Echo 24" is a TGS orientated frame , feels pretty good on natural too. Good for pogo sticking , bad for spins and street riding.

Fourplay is a street orientated frame , rides great for street. Not very good for TGS.

Very different frames in terms of geo and style but both are very good strong frames.
