  3. the nut goes on the axle..you screw it along till it gets to the dropout..you tighten..(too much!)...threads twist...that bit is frenched..washers mean you tighten the nut further from the dropout...big success
  4. this is a good sign...shite quality (EG: bionic ) means trials frames are being mass produced for peanuts and i might actually be able to afford a new frame one day...after 7 years of riding edit- that doesn't mean i've had the same frame for 7 years..but each one wasn't new (violin.)
  5. or the other way round...the damaged bit is usually nearest the dropout (where the nut actually tightens) so you can sometimes get away with putting a couple of washers over the damaged bit and then the nut can grip on the decent thread further away adam
  6. he's right... any decent bike shop that sells bmx's should be able to get the part no problem...looks really very standard indeed (probably cheaper too..) adam
  7. that's the prob...you need to let it all bed in again. Sucks. Apart from that- can you make the chain any tighter?

  14. oh my..oh dear... it's a really nice idea...and well done and all..but it just sits far too vertical to be safe! It is waaay more likely to skip out of gear, and sprocket wear will be worse...you need a longer arm to push the chain down further away from the sprocket..or two jockey wheels... still..nice
