  1. you know your a trials rider when....

you walk round town and you hear a big lorrys brakes (or horn for that matter (or you live somewhere near a port and a ship blows its horn)) and you snap you head around thinking - OTHER TRIALS RIDERS !!

    or . . .

when you walk round a different town to your home and you see guard marks and you think - yeah that would be cool to have a go at or i could clean that . . . . etc

  2. Deffo learn to do it with a full pedal stroke . . . . .

start with your good foot and on the first 3/4 turn you crouch down and back and on the last push with your good foot go fowards and up - you basically jump off your good foot.

after you get to 2 and a half - three feet you should maybe start to learn the old tap (or slam as you get higher)

as aust says (back posting then) dont lean back when you tap - that ll just send the back wheel straight into the bottom of the wall . oh and also when you tap finish the full pedal stroke before hitting the front into the wall.

Its all good though - i learnt to bunnyhop everything first so im probs not the right person to talk to...

    have fun

  3. usually i ride on my own in the week as there arent that many riders in bristol - so i just like riding smaller stuff really smooth and fast - so that no one catches you (bloody council ) just one section really fast first time - so that no one sees.

when there are people out ... then its just nice to have a chat and piss about on bikes - i think in some ways on big rides its better just to watch but then again it pulls you into trying the bigger things - which make you feel ace when you finally make stuff thats really hard.

    ITS ALL GOOD

  4. Troy lee Designs ones - cant remember what they are called ....

but they fit real good they are 20 quid

and they dont have any stupid annoying velcro bit on your wrist.

    best gloves ever

  5. Yer - Seinheiser are the best.....

my in ear jobbies MX300's cost me about 7 quid from richer sounds :) and sound bloody amazing (plus the warrenty rocks) - they kick crap out of anything else out there... you wont look back.

Dont be sucked in by expensive tat from sony and the likes they are all about marketing jargon and less performance.

 Yeah and your head obviously you nutter..........

Ive managed 1 Kore lite 3 stem (1st ride) 1pair azonic sw risers - which i guess doesnt really count and 2 ultegra cassette spiders - everything else is in bad condition but still works . . . .

  7.  berridges should have one, by miles  (Y)

    Yeah I agree ...... :P

but I voted total trials for the final - the edit was good, the riding rocked, as did the music (whats the first song - it sounds abit blur to me)

nicks vid second for me - if it was the first two or three mins it would have been the best by a mile, but it went on abit for me - plus not really a natural fan.

mod mans vid ? I don't know, I find mods generally are all about how massive the moves can be - and while they were MASSIVE it didnt really amaze me as much as say a goddard styleee, plus the editing werent as good as the others.

    just opinions.......

    all good

    :D
