i go to a proper salon. get a pimpin haircut every 4/5 weeks or so. PIMP simon

to make my avid feel nice. make sure cable has both caps on tghe ends. wd40 then some thicker grease like lithium of teflon then more wd40 this melts/thins the grease and makes is really slippery. make sure that the arm that the cable is attached to is fully down. dont pull cable through so rthe arm is up a little to make the brake have less pull = sponge use the red adjusters to make disk have good feeling. make sure the non moving side pad is as close as possible to the disk and the other use to make the lever pull how you want it. thern use the torks<sp> tool you get with the avid to take off as much spring tension as possible with out it hindering the back movment. so the brake releases quick enough. i did that with a normal 2 quid cable and my avid its so nice. simon
